He'd take home around $1.4mil. They are risking a relatively young fighter in Ortiz. I don't see this being much of a fight at all, Mayweather will dominate. They are rolling the dice in putting this match together, saying that Ortiz will earn his money and be beaten, but not hurt. I wouldn't roll those dice for atleast another year or so. ??? How do u figure that? If he can come back from quitting on his stool how wouldn't he come back from a loss to a man who is obviously better then him? No one expects vic to win and it will be a good learning experience. Losing a fight doesn't mean ur washed up or a bum, contrary to popular belief on these boards manny boxers have come back from losses and even getting ktfo only to do great things. Floyd doesn't have the offence to put a career ending beatdown on anyone, why would he suddenly do it to ortiz?

Ortiz has a lot of you fooled imo,everyone talks of this great come back but I for one am not buying it..It was a good win over a over hype fighter..I would have like to see Ortiz Jones or Karass..May mentally is too much for Ortiz and imo he will come out of that fight mentally beating more then physically beating..He won't be the same,he should have took his momentum into a fight with another young lion imo..But hey I understand the fight but mark my wards Ortiz will be the one to suffer behind this choice..But 5 mill is hard to turn down so I understand..
