don't ortiz and robert garcia still have bad blood?

Roach couldn't teach Ortiz in time. No one could. He had many flaws in the Berto fight.

Roach knows that. He won't want to train him knowing Ortiz only has a (very, very slim) puncher's chance. Floyd will just get another one up over Roach since the Oscar fight.

Thought it blew over, but I might be wrong.

If Ortiz asks for Roach's help, Roach will be happy to help him.

How much he could do in 3 months is a different story.

But the way Ortiz fights now, he has very little chance of causing an upset.

roach/pacquiao won't give ortiz their gameplan, they want the win against mayweather for themselves...
it'd be really cool if they did help him out though. i don't think ortiz would drop danny garcia for roach though, that'd be some bogus ****.

I'm sure he will go back there considering the knowledge Roach has on Mayweather's style.

He would be a fool not to
it is kinda UNFAIR to try and give Freddie FULL CREDIT for Ortiz beating Berto, ORTIZ trained for a few weeks at Freddie's Gym and I am sure he gave him some pointers, then he SPARRED with Manny...then Manny gave him some encouragement right before the fight with Berto...but I don't think it is fair to say that "THEY GAVE HIM THE FORMULA TO BEAT BERTO and THEY HAVE THE FORMULA TO BEAT MAYWEATHER" that is RIDICULOUS!

Roach and Pacquiao like Ortiz. One thing having a gameplan another thing executing it.

Ortiz would also have a different game plan to Manny as they are different fighters.

Ortiz needs to jab and throw punchs down the middle and work on that footwork.

Always though Mayweather is vunerable from the right hook counter from the southpaw stance as well.

All of these thing Ortiz does not do well, so unless he can learn very quickly Mayweather should win.

Roach will have a good gameplan for Ortiz and will work on these things.

Victor if you are listening, give Freddie a call.

Never said they they did give him the formula to beat Berto, just mentioned they have worked together before and Ortiz appreciated it.

And why is it ridiculous to say the greatest trainer of our time does have the formula to beat Mayweather.

If he can get part-time Oscar after almost 3 years being out of the game to push Mayweather close then I would say he got some good formulas.

                  Pacquiao can execute them.

But can Ortiz learn them quick enough and have the ability to execute them?

Prior to the Mayorga fight, Oscar had almsot 3 years out doing his promoting work.

Mayorga, hand made for Oscar, very easy to hit, did not need much timing with the right hand.
