And why is it ridiculous to say the greatest trainer of our time does have the formula to beat Mayweather.

If he can get part-time Oscar after almost 3 years being out of the game to push Mayweather close then I would say he got some good formulas.

    Pacquiao can execute them.

But can Ortiz learn them quick enough and have the ability to execute them?
Roach is a great training no doubt about that...but as Mayweather says all the time (and I hate quoting him), but once they get in that ring...it is YOU AND ME...TRAINER CAN'T FIGHT FOR YOU! You can't go into a fight with "THE PERFECT GAMEPLAN" but then you can go into the ring and punches starts to exchange between the two fighters...IT IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY!

So yes it is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS to say for sure that Roach "HAS THE GAME PLAY TO BEAT FLOYD" when you don't know that for sure, but your posting comments as if you know FOR SURE Then the fact that Mayweather can adapt to your style and make changes as the fight goes...makes him even more difficult to deal with....YES I KNOW EVERYBODY HATES THE BLAME BLAH BLAH BLAH, but all the HATE IN THE WORLD can't take away the man AMAZING BOXING SKILLS!

Oh we are only allowed to post comments we are 100% sure about, must have missed that in the rules.

IMO, Roach has formulas/gameplans to beat Floyd Mayweather.

      Better?

Ortiz trained at the Wild Card with Roach in the lead up to the Berto fight and received advice from Pacquiao.

He turned in a great display against Berto and took the title.

Will Freddie and Pacquiao be able to give Ortiz a gameplan to beat Mayweather?

I'm sure that they can but can Ortiz execute it?

Anyway I think it will be a good idea for Ortiz to get himself down the Wild Card train with Roach.

I think Roach will be very happy to help Ortiz out as well.
If they knew they wouldn't be hiding behind lawsuits and needles, they should thank arum for doing a good job in saving them.

Mayorga, hand made for Oscar, very easy to hit, did not need much timing with the right hand.
Oh okay. So if ignore an actual fight that took place, we can just pretend it didn't happen and say Oscar was inactive that whole time when he really wasn't. Yeah that makes sense.

Using that brilliant logic, Mayweather was 3.5 years inactive when he virtually shut out Shane Mosley. You must have been very impressed by his achievement, given how many years he was "inactive".

And Floyd would not be hiding behind blood tests?

Look what Roach done to a part-time boxer like Oscar, he made competative in the Mayweather fight, and if not for his poor conditioning, the timing and power gone from his right hand and Oscar stopping throwing the jab in the 8th round, Oscar could have got the decision.

Did you see JCC jr before Roach got a hold of him, have you seen the Vanda. The guy is nothing special.

Roach has done a great job with him.

I don't know how much he enjoys his congressional job but leaving twice a year might be pushing it, let alone just to help some mexican kid they never heard of. Freddie will just throw in some words of advice, but he won't say anything of extremity, he still has Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao he intends to match against Floyd, it wouldn't be smart to give out information you think will work for somebody else to use.
That's true. I don't see pac coming down here for **** other then to pick up another massive check or train, he's got boat loads of **** to do. If ortiz asked roach for some pointers on how to get to floyd I'm sure roach would give him some advise, but there aint no way in hell he's just laying out his full game plan for floyd. As much as I like ortiz he isn't on that level to be a real threat to mayweather and roach knows that, no way roach is giving away any secrets he's worked up in case floyd and pac ever do throw down.
