  • Should Ortiz Train at the Wild Card with Roach and Pacquiao's help?

Victor Ortiz has the fight with Mayweather comming up in September, at the moment he doesn't have the style/tools to beats him but Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao have the know how to beat Mayweather.

Ortiz trained at the Wild Card with Roach in the lead up to the Berto fight and received advice from Pacquiao.

He turned in a great display against Berto and took the title.

Will Freddie and Pacquiao be able to give Ortiz a gameplan to beat Mayweather?

I'm sure that they can but can Ortiz execute it?

Anyway I think it will be a good idea for Ortiz to get himself down the Wild Card train with Roach.

I think Roach will be very happy to help Ortiz out as well.

Ortiz ain't trying to be no ones experiment.

Also, what do you mean by "Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao have the know how to beat Mayweather"?

No, but I think he might train under Robert Garcia sense he already trains out of the same gym.

Either way though, he has to get a better trainer for this fight.

LMAO, you really think Pacquiao is going to leave the Philippines just to help Ortiz, I mean c'mon. I don't know how much he enjoys his congressional job but leaving twice a year might be pushing it, let alone just to help some mexican kid they never heard of. Freddie will just throw in some words of advice, but he won't say anything of extremity, he still has Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao he intends to match against Floyd, it wouldn't be smart to give out information you think will work for somebody else to use.

          That's simply an assumption.

??? WTF??? How do you know that? Ortiz don't "NEED" anybody he seems to have a solid team around him, he made it this far with his current team why switch things up now...especially after a big win

Ortiz just need to find him some very slick and quick fighters to spar with and he should be fine...even though I really don't think it is much he can do to prepare himself to "BEAT MAYWEATHER" he pretty much as to score a KO or he will Lose

Roach trained Oscar for the Mayweather fight, the right gameplan but Oscar could not execute it.

He did not have the stamina and could not throw the right hand, almost 3 years out the ring will do that to you.

Oscar was well in the fight up till the championship rounds.

Roach has been studying Mayweather style for sometime now, so has Pacquiao, they have many game plans to beat him.

Ortiz should train with Roach as it is best chance of causing a upset.

Ortiz has to change his style for this fight.

He trained with Freddie at the Wild Card before the Berto fight and Pacquiao gave him advice as well.

I'm sure he will go back there considering the knowledge Roach has on Mayweather's style.

He would be a fool not to

Floyd will beat both dont matter where they train , actually Manny will be the easier fight , wont be long and your hero is getting exposed , Im glad Floyd is fighting again the amazing skills he has are a rarity .

Maybe not, but Pacquiao is sure to have a word with Ortiz as he did on the day of the Berto fight.

But Roach will be there at the Wild Card.

And they have worked together before.
