    *** this p1sses me off.

Manny " the flower boy " Pacquiao makes a living by beating up old men and bums, and yet Mayflower decides to pull his head out of a hole and take the only live dog at welter. *** off Mayweather willya.

When the hell will Pacquiao step up?

Once again, Mayweather drags his arse out of retirement to fight the best welter not named money or Pac. Oh well, I guess Manny will fight him later, once he has a blueprint and Vic is seen as vulnerable, as usual.

So, Manny has fought 2x welters at 147, an old man and a bum, and yet Mayweather will have fought 4, two were ranked #1, one was ranked #2, and the other is ranked #3 - a young hungry fast skilled prime champion who happens to be right on top of his game - someone that Manny would not even look at ("talk to my plomoter").

BTW, guess whos next Pac ?

    • I'm really excited for this fight, moreso than when Floyd was scheduled to fight Mosley. Ortiz will pose a greater threat than Mosley, he's much younger, hungrier, a southpaw and heavy-handed. This could be a recipe for disaster if Floyd is not fully commited to this fight.

FYI Margarito has been 1-2 in the last couple of years but that doesn't take away what he has done in the last decade. What has Ortiz done apart from beating Berto at WW? Not jack ****. Again, I'll say it, I give props to Floyd for fighting Ortiz but you guys can't discredit Pac's (apart from Floyd's leftovers) opponents at 147+.
        Wanna fkn bet ?

FACT: Manny has only ever fought TWO welters at 147, one was an old man who clearly could no longer pull the trigger, and the other one was an under-achieving bum who happened to be strangely innocuous in that fight.

Mayweather has fought four..... two were ranked #1, one was arguable #1 but definitely #2, and the other is a young gun that Pac wanted nothing to do with.

Mayflower = clearly the best welter, and clearly a better P4P fighter.

        • Thank you for fighting, Floyd. Now don't do something ****** outside the ring that can derail this fight.

It annoys me that JoeDawg would choose to take that position today.

Berto was ready to fight Pac, but the young fast skilled prime beast that beat him..... is not. At least Mayweather stepped up, just like he did back when Pac was too scared to fight Mosley.

Pac fought DLH, Mosley, and Clottey at 147. Cotto at 145 and Marg at 150. Cotto was the only really risky fight (well DLH was) that you had the feeling Pac could lose. To me Ortiz is an obvious underdog but a legit threat because he has never been KO'd and is young and hungry. Yes he quit against Maidana but he was not knocked unconcious in a way that would damage you down the line. He's still a young & prime fighter and imagine how electrifying those first 6 rounds will be. You will be on the edge of your seat if your a Mayweather fan knowing its a risk because Ortiz has the power and has an aggressive fighting style. What if Money slips up like he did against Mosley? His skills clearly should carry him to a decision victory but this is no forgone conclusion. What if Ortiz's southpaw style cracks the Mayweather defense early? Its very possible especially with Floyd coming off a long layoff. Dangerous fight and guess what people Floyd is stepping up. Why? Because this is not a top rank fighter and is the biggest challenge at welter other than Pac (Martinez at MW would be the ultimate challenge). Mayweather by UD but I'm gonna be on the edge of my seat when that opening bell rings!
