Floyds skills are years beyond Ortiz... but he's not invincible, he's not unbeatable.
He just A. Hasn't fought anyone who can beat him yet, and B. Got to the age where ring wear has effected him yet..
But, this is the time in a fighters life (generally) where they start to lose a step, they start to see that split second timing go away a bit, the legs slow down a bit.. the reaction time isn't quite the same as it used to be.
Ortiz, no SUPERIOR boxer to Floyd, is still a young, prime, BIG (161lbs on FN) and Southpaw, coming off the best win of his career.
This will not be a walk in the park.
I favor Floyd, as anyone SHOULD favor Floyd... but this isn't easy.
Berto hit Ortiz with HUGE MONSTER shots, and it still did not deter him from attacking.
If Floyd makes this fight look easy i will tip my hat to him even more......Ortiz has a shot because he has crushing power, and Floyd is susceptible to taking shots he doesn't see from SP's.

FYI Margarito has been 1-2 in the last couple of years but that doesn't take away what he has done in the last decade. What has Ortiz done apart from beating Berto at WW? Not jack ****. Again, I'll say it, I give props to Floyd for fighting Ortiz but you guys can't discredit Pac's (apart from Floyd's leftovers) opponents at 147+.

This is a great fight and anyone saying otherwise isn't being honest. Who else was floyd supposed to fight? Don't even mention martinez because that's a joke and anyone with a brain knows its not going to happen. This is by far the best fight floyds singed on for in years. U gotta give him his props, oritiz is left handed, has good power, and is a legit contender at 147. Is this a young cotto or cheato, no. But that doesn't mean its not the best possible fight that could be made right now.

good. Now Berto can stop crying because he got his bell rung.....and we can be fairly confident both fighters are clean.

This is a very good fight for boxing, and will be Floyd's toughest fight in quite awhile. I expect Floyd to win this fight, and I will give him complete credit when he prevails.
I am hoping that this is a "tune-up" for a 2012 clash with PAC. Hard hitting southpaw? I am now more optimistic about a PAC-PBF fight happening...
