This is for the dudes using the Maidana fight and the Peterson fight as a crutch...

Ortiz came on strong in both fights (he didn't finish well as we all know)! He also came on strong, and finished strong in the Berto fight! I am pretty sure Ortiz understands he is fighting one of the best fighters in the world. He will be ready.

That doesn't mean he will win, but it does mean we should be in for a good fight as boxing fans.

it's not a crutch, it's real... Victor Ortiz is VERY flawed. you know he is. he seems like a good kid, he talks like a nice kid... i find him likable... but come on, you can't ignore the fact that he flat out quit after Maidana beat him up... you can't ignore the fact that just 6 months ago he faded badly, i mean BADLY, against lamont... and that his biggest test came against Berto (who managed to knock him down 2x).

this isnt a tuneup fight for floyd. these are his main fights, like the jmm one wasn't a tuneup for him. but i like this fight w/ ortiz, though for sure he'll go on vacation again after this. anything to avoid a pac fight.

Funny how this being a 'tuneup' for Floyd is actually better than anything Pacquiao has done in ages. To be Frank, its quite embarrassing, I'd say.

Floyd is a welterweight. He agrees to fight the best fighter at 147 right now other than manny, who has a fight scheduled for november. And who should floyd fight instead, The 160 lb champ. Why even answer that clown.

Yea man, its embarrassing as heck. Happened on the North Side of the City...the guy that was rapping in the video with the red hat on knew the camera guy. But the guy that smacked him, was from the neighborhood and didn't "know" the guy rapping and didn't want him in his hood. So he smacked him while he was rapping and the dude got up and drove off. I'm sure its on youtube. Makes no sense, but unfortunately, silly stuff like that happens alot here.

How is that so? Because Ortiz beat Berto? If the roles are reversed Mayweather fans would point out his fights with Peterson and Maidana as to how easy of a fight it would be for Pacquiao. Yet because it's Floyd, it's coo since he's fighting the #3 Welterweight and is a legit fight?
