If they fight Ortiz right now? At the weight-class that Pac fought them? I would put money on Ortiz.

It matters more on when you fight them then who you actually fought.

Riiiight, because you weren't saying that Mayweather is scared of Mosley after decapitating Margarito and becoming the number one welterweight.

      You knuckleheads are hilarious.

Bro, I think I have been one of the most critical fans of Ortiz since the Maidana fight. I have also said that if the Peterson fight would have been 12 rounds, he would have lost.

My point is, maybe Ortiz has learned from those fights. Judging from the Berto fight, maybe he has.

All I'm saying is Ortiz has to know who he is going up against. Floyd has a huge flaw also. Taking the first few round off to learn his opponent. If Ortiz comes out strong, he may have a shot at Floyd.

In a nutshell, I like the fight.

Also, in connection with that crutch comment...Floyd is not Maidana or Peterson. I'm not saying he is worst, but those fighters love to **** in close. Floyd does not. Floyd use distance to an art, and Ortiz is a good boxer himself. Those fights have nothing to do with this fight is what I'm saying.

Well you better be ready to lose that money. When Pac fought them the only loses they had was against each other (or Mayweather).. Ortiz in the last 2 years had a draw and a lose at the lower weights... At least those guys never lose below WW... Ortiz is too raw for a fight like this, and his career is being rushed like how Vargas was in his prime...

                Mayweather Guesses Wrong This Time!!!

Mayweather once again thinks he's done his homework and hand picked a smaller fighter, one dimensional, that he can stand on the outside from, jabbing his way to a decision. And in this fight he might look good doing so against Ortiz...UNTIL he gets caught with a bomb. That's when the Boxing World gets dealt with the news, Pacquiao will never get his chance to knockout Floyd, because Ortiz will get there first. Floyd has guessed wrong picking Ortiz, not to mention on Mexico Independence Day, and will catch a very motivated Ortiz, who will knock Floyd Mayweather out. Place your bets in Vegas. Just as we read about Iran Barkley shocking the world knocking out Tommy Hearns, Victor Ortiz will shock the world knocking out Floyd Mayweather. Then what a showdown to be staged between Ortiz and Pacquiao! With Maidana waiting in the wings. Mayweather & Co. will unravel like Mike Tyson returning from Japan.
