what seperates Jr at crunch time after taking a bomb is hes COMPOSHRE..he knows how to tie up and after that he knows what he got caught with then avoids being hit with that over again...but yes Jr can b Hurt and if Ortiz gets Jr seriously hurt Ortiz can finish him but Jr knows how to survive unless its a one shot and lights out thing but with Jr's Defence i dont think is a big chance of it happening

Yeah... that's true but, how many times did Floyd respond to one of those statements ?? He was totally deaf to comments from Manny's team.Comment

How you figure? Ortiz fought berto 4 months after he drew with Lamont... see most of you in here don't even know the two fought. I saw that fight and Ortiz looked like ****... then he goes up to fight Berto? come on man, everybody knew Berto was a hype job... when arum said that Pac/Ortiz is a possibility... most including myself said Ortiz ain't ready... now you motherf@ckers are wetting your panties because Floyd is fighting him? wow.Comment

its honestly ridiculous to criticize a fighter for not moving up in weight. thats a fighter's choice to fight at whatever weight they want, and Floyd is a welterweight, and not a big weltr at that. to criticize for not fighting the MIDDLEWEIGHT champ is absurd. HAs been a weltereight for too long. He's had about 6 fights at weltrwt. Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, de la hoya (at jr middle b/c it was a HUGE fight that he wanted for many yrs, but still came in at 150) Hatton, Marquez and Mosely. Thats not alot - and even if it was 20 fights - so what - thats his weight class!Comment

Isnt it funny how some boxing fans will complain about ANYTHING. Floyd fans complain that Pac hasnt fought anyone. Pac fans complain that Floyd is duckin Pac.
Pac has fought very tough competition (Barrera, Morales, Marquez, de la Hoya, Hatton, Cotto) althpough his last few fights havent been challenges - which also speaks to PAc's greatness, bc there r few that would challenge him (although there is no excuse for Pac-Mosely).
Floyd is comin bak to fight a tough fight. The people criticizin Floyd said he was duckin Mosely, then when he SCHOOLS Mosely, they said Mosely was too old - you can't have it both ways.
Really, Pac-Marquez III should be a great fight considerin their mesh of styles; and Ortiz should provide an interestin challenge. Boxing fans should be happy that the 2 top fighters have fights lined up against opponents that could (key word) give them a challenge - unlike Pac-Mosely, which we knew was a joke from the minute it was announcedComment

"Manny is not dull. He is the aggressor. He is an entertaining fighter and I believe that most people that bought the fight tonight bought it not with the expectation that Shane Mosley was going to win," said Arum of Pacquiao, who was coming off of November's unanimous decision over Antonio Margarito.
"They bought the Antonio Margarito fight not because they thought that he was going to win, but because they wanted to be entertained by Manny Pacquiao," said Arum. "Manny is a great fighter. That's why people are buying his fights now. He has achieved greatness."

"I did and I read them saying Mosley was huffing and puffing for air in the fourth or fifth round," Arum said. "To me, that is the real tipoff for an aging fighter. Even Big George Foreman did that in his 40s but he always had that big, big punch like in the (Michael) Moorer fight.
"What I've read is not very supportive to make any Mosley-Pacquiao bout. Look, he's going to be 40 and he's in the lighter weights where speed is so important. He's on a show with guys (example, 20 year old Saul Canelo Alvarez) old enough to be his son.
