          Ortiz's biggest fights:
          Marcos Maidana - TKO LOSS!!!!!!
          Lamont Peterson - DRAW!!!!!!
Andre Berto - Win but Knocked down twice!!!!!)

Damn SMH, maytards wet their panties for THIS???

If Ortiz or Berto was an easy fight Manny would've fought them so give up the BS dude. The Ortiz that fought Berto would wipe the floor with all those dudes except Berto.

                see how that works?

im sorry, but the cotto fight is much better than the ortiz fight.

the ortiz fight ain't bad, pretty good for a comeback fight but ya'll overeacting now.
Really???? Ortiz looked better than Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley coming off of his last fight. Victor quit but he moved up and handled business (I still want him to fight Maidana again) Lets ask Pac what he thinks about Ortiz and a possible fight against him.....

Hollywood, California - Sitting in the hot-box that is his dressing room at the Wild Card, with about 15 reporters jammed into it, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao was asked if he would like to tangle with Victor Ortiz, the new WBC champ.

"I don't know," he said. "He's a nice guy, also. And I like his attitude, he's humble person. I like a fighter like that."

Pacquiao was asked if he remembers the sparring session against Ortiz, which took place when Pacquiao was preparing to challenge lightweight champion David Diaz in June 2008 in Las Vegas; Pacquiao won via 9th-round technical knockout.

"Yeah," he said, laughing slightly and raising his eyebrows as if to suggest it was a rough one. "I was 135 fighting with David Diaz. It was good, he's strong. That's why I picked him to win the fight (against Andre Berto).

Don't try to discredit Ortiz because he quit because Pac's last opponents weren't even as competitive as a guy who quit prior. Floyd did the right thing by fighting Ortiz. Totally shows Pac up. Manny should have fought Mosley before Floyd and now Ortiz, since he's supposedly the P4P#1. Floyd came back from retirement 2x's to fight guys in the same division as Manny and Pac didn't fight them when it matter. Most likely he will fight Ortiz after Floyd to try to outdo Mayweather but how can you outdo Mayweather when he beat the guys first? Pac fans shouldn't be fronting on Floyd considering how they are always talking about Floyd is on vacation and scared to fight Pac BUT Pac is scared to fight anyone who is winning while Floyd is not. That's not me hating but rather stating the facts.

Isnt it funny how some boxing fans will complain about ANYTHING. Floyd fans complain that Pac hasnt fought anyone. Pac fans complain that Floyd is duckin Pac.
Pac has fought very tough competition (Barrera, Morales, Marquez, de la Hoya, Hatton, Cotto) althpough his last few fights havent been challenges - which also speaks to PAc's greatness, bc there r few that would challenge him (although there is no excuse for Pac-Mosely).
Floyd is comin bak to fight a tough fight. The people criticizin Floyd said he was duckin Mosely, then when he SCHOOLS Mosely, they said Mosely was too old - you can't have it both ways.

Really, Pac-Marquez III should be a great fight considerin their mesh of styles; and Ortiz should provide an interestin challenge. Boxing fans should be happy that the 2 top fighters have fights lined up against opponents that could (key word) give them a challenge - unlike Pac-Mosely, which we knew was a joke from the minute it was announced
