Taylor was a star in boxing, but not a mainstream star. He maxed out his paydays and had the potential to be a mainstream star but ****ed it up with lousy performances. He did pretty good ratings and numbers for HBO and even HBO PPVs.

DiBella is a clown himself but is actually speaking the truth. It is very true that Arum is running his business as sort of a side show. It is a Looped Closed Circuit.

Arum is actually doing what ODLH spoke about he himself wanted to do a few years back. He is running his show like it is the only show in town. It hurts the fans and the sport.

HBO and the WBC are the real b|tches here. They helped make the two headed monster in Arum and De La Hoya. You cannot allow the promoters to have that much control. Too much shady stuff is happening.

This sport will need to die a gruesome death, before it can rise from the ashes and become what it used to be.

Kelly Pavlik = Bob Arum
Winky Wright = Originally promoted by Don King switched to other promoters like Gary Shaw
Cory Spinks = Don King

I'm beginning to think that Dibella just rides off other promoters' fighters' popularity. Dibella doesn't promote his fighters he just matches them against other popular fighters to get paid.

He doesn't built them up from the ground up. He just matches them and hope he gets a gold fighter. And Jermaine Taylor being with Dibella never really made a lot of money outside of fighting a Don King or Top Rank fighter.

Jermaine Taylor never had a PPV fight without a Don King or Top Rank fighter. Which means all his PPV fights were against a Don King or Top Rank promoted fighter. Case closed.

If anything else Don King built up Jermaine Taylor not Dibella.

I think most of us can see this for what it really is; Arum doesnt want no part of Martinez meeting Chavez as Chavez will get KO'd brutally and easily.

I'm not a big fan of Chavez at the moment and would pick Martinez to run riot on his arse stopping him mid rounds.

Its not like martinez didnt fight kelly pavlik(Top Rank fighter) and people uses that in his resume. Martinez is currently campaigning at 160. He straight up said the lowest he can go is 154 while the highest pacquaio can go is at 150(hence he only weighed in at 148 at fight night). Dibella is only looking for money fight. He is not doing anything to help boxing. Just look at the cherry picking he did for Andre Berto. The only reason they let Ortiz vs Berto happen because everyone thought ortiz was done after the quitting against maidana and the draw with peterson. And lets not act like before williams fight, that martinez was fighting nothing but bums.

Everyone cherry picks including martinez. Why do you think the only fighters martinez and dibella are calling out are Canelo, Cotto, Pacquaio, Floyd, and chavez jr. Because they all are one of the biggest draws in boxing.

Arum is ****ing pacquaio legacy, dibella blaming arum for his ****ty ass promotion, Floyd's on vacation, pacquaio being arum's yes men, Donaire being a dumbass, Gary shaw and bradley beef, Bradley not fighting Khan.....and on and on. But some how Arum is ruing boxing because 147 is garbage, and the only challenge for pacquaio is a guy who is campaigning at 160. Im sorry everybody in boxing is to blame. Dibella is just a POS promoter who talking **** about arum for the doing the same **** dibella did for berto.
