I think Ward is a bit overrated but there's not a classier with as good of a personality in boxing than Dre. What a great ambassador of the sport, and Froch is only a **** hair behind. Great night of boxing for smw

Me too coach, I think ward is overrated by folks, but I could be wrong. Either way I really like dre ward. His interviews are always informative, he answers questions honestly, and alwaysaintains professionalism. This translates into the way he fights and probably has a lot to do with why he's popular in his hometown.

He's also a good role model type guy. Ya know, I wish he'd have really been tested. If I had seen him fight someone that made him step his game up, he'd prob be one oft favorites but his draw has been so damn easy,

I can't see how drawing the favourite to win the entire tornument is an easy draw.

Nor can I see Abraham who was one of the favourites after his first fight being an easy draw either.

Kessler was an astronomic step up for Ward and he stepped up to the plate in incredible fashion.

I agree, and he's very headstrong and respectful. Kessler is also a gentleman, he never makes excuses or complains.

                    How is Andre Ward overrated?

He came in as a 15-1 underdog to win the tournament. And all of his wins are picked on, there's something wrong with all of his wins, but he always WINS. I like this though, I like it when a fighter just keeps winning and winning, and beating guys who people thought he wasn't gonna beat, but the fans still come up with more excuses to not give the props the guy deserves as a boxer.

Walt If he beats Froch, which you believe Froch will win, then that would mean Froch lost to an overrated fighter?
