He didn't turn down $50 million. This was a Mayweather ploy from the very beginning to avoid fighting him and losing his 0. It wasn't even included in the original negotiations which they had been discussing. He had a change of mind during the talks.

Pacquiao was and always IS guaranteed $20 million. It was just talk that with all the hoopla supposedly making a PPV record, he "might" achieve something close to $50 millions. It was just an arbitrary figure. There was NO guarantee of anything like that.

All the idiot talk surrounding this supposed fight has skewed all the true facts out of reality.

As we all really have known for a long time. Mayweather may be mentally unbalanced. No sane person I've ever heard of goes to a balcony and tosses down $100 bills as a regular habit, just to give himself a boost (whether they are real or not). His behaviour is at VERY LEAST deeply eccentric, and I don't know any other boxer in history who behaved like that and remained out of an asylum.
