Same exact thing happened with the South Africa situation. Arum came out and said there were negotiations that occurred that the general public didn't know about and that a group from an unnamed country tried to put the fight together and it fell apart because of Mayweather's ridiculous money demands. Koncz confirmed it was a South African group led by Michael Lodge and Mandela's daughter, Jeff Mayweather also later confirmed. Then TMZ obtained legal documents that backed up everything Arum/Koncz/Jeff Mayweather said.

So we now have more details about this situation. Wouldn't be too hard to investigate the matter.
