dude if pac wins 30mil$ off a defamation suit from a person who just repeated publicly known accusations, then i'd immediately pack up and leave usa.

No Manny COULD get waaaay more than 100 grand. He is suing for 5 million and is likely to win more than that. Maybe 10, even 20 million dollars.

And it's not a completely free country. There is something called 'Laws.' And its illegal to defame someones characters. This is why Manny is going to win millions of dollars.

It's funny such things need to be explained to people around here. But I guess I should be used to shocking ******ity on display here. Not like there's many educated, or smart people on these boards. Just a bunch of minimum wage idiots.
Thats complete BS you wrote; in order to get that kind of harm they have to prove irrrepairable harm has been done. With Manny making over 60 million in his last three fights that will be hard to prove. The NFL lockout is is irrepairable harm this case isn't plain and simple so if ZI'm Floyd I'm not worried.

Has Floyd Mayweather and family accusations against Pacquiao hurt Pacquiao reputation and diminsihed his earning power?

Check this site before Nov, 2009 and after December 2009, think you will notice a drastic change and how Floyd comments changed peoples views.

Pacquiao will have to prove that the Mayweathers done this maliciously, to detract from Pacquiao standing and thus raising Mayweather's

Pacquiao will also have to say his losses due to this, be there endorsements, fights, past present and future.

The longer this stigma hangs around Pacquiao the more he can sue Mayweather for.

Pacquiao can even claim since it has not died down he has been irrevocably hurt by Mayweather accusation so he can take him for his loss of earnings 50-60 years into the future.

The Mayweather's will have to prove they had just cause in there accusations and, doing a number on Cotto will probably not hold up in court.

Maybe they will use transcript from this site to show how much damage has been done.

And it not just about his money he earns in the ring it will focus more on the money he earns out of the ring.

How much does Ali take in a year now.

i understand your point ,but pac is making more money with every fight. so one can say this defamation has only increased on his fame, and more people are interested in his fights. this story has no substance. and like i said how is he going to prove ped accusations caused harn to his political aspirations? this court case is politically ******.
if the extent of damage really was significant arum wouldn't let gbp go away so easily.
things like this start when grownup kids start fighting for toys.

Who knows what the outcome will be, but I think the Mayweathers will lose this one, the cost of damages is the only varible and will come down to how good the lawyers are.

How is Roger Mayweather going to defend his A-side Meth claim?

everyone have rights but every right has its limits/boundaries and that limit/boundary is when in the exercise of ones right he will be stepping on another ones right and thats a no no.

everyone has opinions, but ones right to it doesnt mean he is also given the right to spread it around as gospel truth and convincing or cause to convince others that it is true or factual especially if ones opinion is derogatory to another person. if one is going around telling everybody his opinion that he believes a certain person is doing illegal things he is not only expressing and exercising his right to have an opinion he is already accusing that person. it didnt really help roger makes up stories about a-side meth, those asbout bouncing bullets off bodies, hes not expressing that as an opinion, he is asserting it as a fact. floyd, you know what hes doing, and floyd sr. he too, if youre thinking he is only expressing an opinion, all those thing he spew to the media, well its your right but that doesnt mean you are wise.

now, pacquiao has his own rights too, rights of presumption of innocence until proven otherwise. pacquiao has also his rights to meet his accusers thats why there is a legal action, thats the professional way to deal with fools like the mayweathers you know.

Floyd Mayweather snr's quotes like I know he is on steroids. He will get asked how do you know this?

What going to be his answer?

And Mayweather has turned it into a campaign making it even easier for Pacquiao's legal team.

I agree, the way i see it, Pac wouldn't bother too much about the compensation he may get but getting a conviction on the Mayweather seems enough.

And the way things are going, yes, the idiocy of the Mayweathers is really helping Pac's case day by day.
