Will probably be a boring fight with Haye defeating Wlad 7 rounds to 5 in a snoozer.
How will Wladimir Klitschko -vs- David Haye play out??

... In any event where Haye wins more rounds than Wlad, it will not be a boring fight. That would be something boxing fans haven't seen in years.. With Haye somehow managing to solve Klit's jab.Comment

I think it will be ugly but entertaining. Haye will probably try and use his superior speed and athleticism to attack with combos, while Wlad will as always put his jab out there and tie up when Haye gets close.
I've always felt that if it goes past the 3rd or 4th Haye is in trouble, because he isn't good enough to keep Wlad from jabbing him into oblivion and landing big right hands once Wlad gets comfortable.Comment

What you're saying about the 3rd and 4th round makes sense, but what if Haye just fights evasively conceding the early rounds as he allows Klit to expend some level energy. I would think Haye has to attempt jumping on him early as you suggest, or pace himself overly patiently and launching an assault in the mid-later rounds. Either way he's going to probably need to leave himself open to be knocked out.Comment

If he waits until the middle rounds it will be too late. He has to do it early because you have to beat Wlad by making him uncomfortable, not letting him fall into a rhythm. Once Wlad is in his zone it won't matter how much energy Haye has, he isn't good enough to deal with Wlad's A game.
Kind of like Foreman/Moorer. Don't let him feel your true power until he trusts it enough that he won't treat it like dynamite. When he no longer fears the results, he'll be more available. Hence opening your only window to really touch his chin. Of course like all plans of solving Wlad, you'd have to walk a tight rope then have some decent luck and execute perfectly.. There are a couple different ways to do this..(or at least attempt doing this)
I wonder though if Haye will be willing to take the risks to win or give a half hearted effort at the win then be content to survive. I hope that's not the case. I'd prefer a Ricky Hatton type effort regardless of the outcome.Comment

Haye's only chance is in the first few rounds by landing a big shot and hurting Wlad and taking him out.
Can this happen? Yes.
Will it? Most likely not.
What I imagine will happen is Haye will be tentitive and try and throw one punch at a time and try and throw a combo every now and again and Wlad will tie him up.
The longer the fight goes the more Haye will get pummled by Wlad's ja and right hand.
Eventually getting stopped.Comment

If this really is Haye's plan, then he's effectively walking into an execution. He's a fairly proud guy and I tend to think he must be a little smarter than this. I think he would be more inclined to fight a sheepish version of the Valuev fight so he can at leastsay he survived and possibly claim robbery in enemy territory.
Throwing the occasional bomb out there like lotto tickets coupled with occasional flurries is a recipe for disaster. It will need to be a very specific plan with a couple rounds where he goes full caution to the wind. Or.. Tail between his legs survival mode hoping to land a late single bomb that will never land.
I think there's a good chance he genuinely dreams of defeating a Klitschko. In which case he might be willing to get knocked out in the effort.Comment
