Golden Boy backing off the Marquez fight was clearly part of the arrangement, and that's worth about $70+ million to Top Rank alone.
It ends the lawsuit that is not just a promotional stunt~ confidential means just that confidential meaning not disclosed nothing more~

Whatever those confidential settlements be, I hope TR and GBP remain true to their words and give us boxing fans what we been craving - a real superbowl of boxing.
Hopefully they can make it work longer then their last truce, that is good for boxing.

There could have been some considerations but I would not expect GBP to jump on the offer for anything that really cost them to much. Like passing on JMM when they could have stalled even though they knew they would not match

If they wanted a lot GBP would have just continued on fighting but they took a cheap sure way out which is logical because it moves the ball forward and means they have less to worry about. Same for the other side.
NO...Oscar knew all along he was in the wrong, and lost his nerve. This case was very likely the cause of him being in rehab.

He's just a not very smart guy, and went out a little too far into the sea.

Or they could have got nothing and had to pay the other sides legal fees and looked not very good~

Oscar was a side party and unimportant in the matter, what caused Oscar to go to rehab has to do with him being rich and having to much time and money on his hands~

Has no one taken into consideration that he is in rehab. Step 9 is "I make amends to those that i have harmed" "I sincerely apologize" "I write letters of apology". Geez guys hes in rehab not throwing up a white flag or giving up.

                  That's it an apology?!

These people were ready to put Pacquiao's name and legacy under the bus, and Pacquaio* still stands in some of casual fans' minds.

Just take a look at all the support pre-Cotto fight, people were ready to go all in on Pacquiao. Pacquiao's hype train lost some steam from all of the accusations, but I guess apology is good enough? Damage is already done.

GBP left Mayweather on an island a long time ago, when they haven't done a SINGLE OST on ANY of their cards.

On the other hand this is good for boxing, GBP and Top Rank - 2 BIG BOI promotions getting along and giving the fans possibilities of great fights.

SIGN ME UP FOR THAT ****. Call me crazy but I kinda wanna see pac ortiz even more then pac floyd. It would be a ****ing war, tp vs gdp, philip vs mex, to dudes with power who mix it up. If I was pac I'd take out jmm, then bradley, and end the career with an all out fist fest with ortiz, win lose or draw ride off into the sunset.
