Nothing surprising about it. As Arum has said several times, Oscar is not too bright.THIS, of course leaves the Mayweathers all alone and practically defenceless. The only surprising thing is that how oscar let himself get ****** into this ******ed monkey **** to begin with. Dude followed a moron out onto a ledge and now he's trying to get his ass back on solid ground. This is great news for boxing fans, **** floyd, bring on pac ortiz.
Kind of funny how it took a couple of fat lines to get oscar thinking straight. Good for gdp, hopefully they learn from all the ****** **** they've been doing this year. Watching this "war" with bob arum was like watching a drunk father beat his skinney step son with a stick.
I wouldn't be surprised if they begin jostling each other to apologise as well, since the rot has settled in.
This must have cost Oscar and Golden Balls a "pretty penny........."Comment

I'm pretty sure he'll apy big out of court too. It'll likely be an "undisclosed settlement" like Oscar's, only maybe bigger, since Arum has not need to do any business with the Mayweathers, and they began the whole thing.Comment

I'm not sure if GBP got out of that lawsuit mess without giving something in return aside from public apology. Arum was all smiles because he got what he wanted - GBP forfeiture of promotional rights to every Pacman fight, just a guess.Comment

That's possible, but they definitely got GBP to step aside from the Marquez fight, they had matching rights until next Feb (even if they couldn't necessarily match it). Pretty sure GBP backed off their claims for Donaire too since it's being reported that he's fighting under Top Rank again. Also possible that they had a cash settlement as well.
But like the article says, the terms were confidential so we might never know the details but it's clear Top Rank/Manny got a lot more than just an apology out of this. That part was just for PR and putting Oscar and co. in their place.Comment
