I don't think you see the relevance of my point there, Ortiz actually puts his punches together and just like Judah can hurt Cotto. He won't be manhandled because he's just as physical. Ortiz's biggest problem is getting caught coming in when he becomes to overzealous.
Why does everyone ride that "off balance" line and can't give credit when it's due? Cotto timed Clottey perfectly coming in!, Clottey's feet were set and he was actually throwing a jab himself but Cotto got to it first..see for yourself.

and that's exactly how Cotto will catch and unload on Ortiz, coming in, Cotto's timing has done him wonders, and Ortiz won't be too much stronger than Cotto at 147 they're about the same size mass wise, even tho Ortiz has like 2in in height on him.

I believe that you're focusing too much on resume value and it does have some validity when analyzing potential future match-ups but I don't believe it's very relevant to this particular match-up. I believe this fight is more about styles making the fight if you will.

We both have different points of views and opinions and I respect yours.

For sure, and it's all respect here bro, and you know resume speaks a lot, Ortiz hasn't shown that he can perform as well against certain styles, just like Cotto has shown to buckle under pressure, can Ortiz apply that pressure with out getting hurt first?, that's where it gets interesting and I think Cotto hurts him bad during exchanges and stops him eventually

all opinion obviously, Boxing is beautiful for a reason, ANYTHING can happen

Ey man, boxingscene forums have some Cotto haters that just jump on any thread that have his name on it just to hate, they will never give him his props, so when Cotto beats cheato in the rematch just wait for the excuses about cheato being damaged by Pacquiao.

One thing Im sure of is that Cotto will be in the Hall of fame

Yea I agree bro, main reason why my post count has decreased by the day!, but I come on here after weeks of not posting and see the same ****, it's mind boggling, but there will always be haters..

Miguel Cotto isn't the greatest of all time, or even the greatest of his era, but one thing we can say, is there's never been a BORING Cotto fight, or a Cotto fight where the fans have BOO'd, and that's what makes me love his fights, and why I'm such a big fan.

True, Cotto is in hardly a boring fight but you know as well as I know that your little posse of stans like to open their mouth and talk shit.

I'm not hating on Cotto, Cotto is one of my favorite fighters; and to me he's just not the same fighter post-Marg.

I'm just saying Ortiz has all the physical tools that can beat Cotto; even at 154.

Someone saying Margarito deserved that ass whooping for getting caught with Plaster isn't necessarily hating, it's actually being an actual BOXING FAN, that wants respect out of the athletes in the sport,

Calling a boxer Kneeguel and Quitter after losing an EPIC BATTLE to a guy who was caught with that plaster 6mths later is simply a HATER, because the fact that he didn't call it quits until the 11th it gave US the FANS enough of a WAR to be content with spending that PPV money we dished out.

See the difference?, now if there's other boxers being called names with no justification, etc I'm not referring to that, the two mentioned above are the ones that I just don't see why you would hate one and defend the other, as a true boxing fan it makes no sense to me.

It'll be hard to find another poster who hates on Cotto more then this chump.
