Andre Ward??? WTF?!?!?
How in the hell can people just try to FORCE MARTINEZ to move up to 168...the man is 36 and he has NEVER fought that high in weight, he has always been around 154-158 if you look at his Boxrec
it is just funny to me how people just start bashing and attacking a guy when they see he is a LEGIT THREAT to Manny PacquiaoLast edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 05-31-2011, 04:15 PM.Comment

Martinez did just move up a year ago from 154 to face Paul Williams, and if the Chavez fight happens (it won't), it will be at 154 as well. Just because Martinez won't let himself be weight drained doesn't mean he's "too big."
You can't have you cake and eat it too. Pac has fought garbage opposition the past few years, and every viable opponent is met with an excuse. "He's too big." "He's now a draw"
You talk about Martinez being too big for Pac, how about Pacquiao being unwilling to face Marquez again without having him come up two weight classes?
Point is Pacquiao admitted himself that he's too small to be fighting at JMW... and Martinez says he's too small to be fighting lower than 154... so how the hell is this fight gonna happen?
And explain to me how Martinez has fought better opposition.. last time i checked he went 1 and 1 with the best name on his resume, Pwill... he beat an alcoholic has been in Pavlik and beat a whole bunch of my neighbors and truck drivers lol... gimme a break.
Marquez and Pacquiao are the same friggin size... come fight night they will both weigh almost THE SAME. damn, people here are ******s. and where have you been? didn't you know that JMM approved the contract as it was written, including weight, so that GBP wouldn't be able to match it?... where have you been? welcome to boxing.Comment

He made those comments back when he was the #1 welter, just after Pac turned him down twice. He was obviously trying to stir up the fight, but it was just funny to hear every top 5 fighter, except Pac himself, shred Mannys resume.Comment

"Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. – and possibly Nonito Donaire – rank above him in pound-for-pound rankings. However, no fighter has accomplished more than Martinez over the past two years when you consider his opponents"
