And that's why Pac can't beat Floyd because he can't hang with Martinez. Glad Pac fans are finally seeing that. Floyd ain't fighting anyway, so time to move on and if he does come back. He ain't going to fight Martinez because Floyd ain't hungry enough to take that challenge at this stage of his off and on career.Comment

If Pac can't fight at 154 then tell him to drop his 8th division title claim and get Bob Arum to pay for a 150LB catchweight title. Any non fan boy knows that Cotto and Margarito catchweight title fights was to pad his legacy. Margarito wasn't even ranked in the division when he fought for the title Martinez got stripped for. It's totally and utterly pathetic how many b!tch ass fans and bias, boxing journalists there are nowadays.Comment

he can't even weigh in at 147 for his title defenses
simply put, he doesn't belong in 154 & as i said before, his "8th" belt is nothin more than just to make money for his "parasites"Comment

Hey moron. Exactly. He won a 154LB title at 150LB catchweight fight against an unranked fighter coming off of suspension for cheating but claims the title is a legit 154LB title not 150. Are you proud of Pac for doing that? Seems like you are the dumb one falling for that B.S.Comment

Can't blame Sergio Martinez for wanting a pay day. The guy has faced tough opposition that supposedly no one else wanted to fight. Williams, Pavlik, Dzinzurik. He wants a good payday, and unfortunately for him there is only Pacquiao, Mayweather, Cotto or Chavez jr. Ward and Hopkins as great as they are, aren't exactly cash cows. Not to mention Hopkins and Ward are both tied to other fights now.
So lets see
Pacquiao = to small won't fight him
Mayweather= retired or something, who knows
Cotto= has turned the fight down, possibly tied with Margs
Chavez jr, = why the f, not, the kid generates an audience
BTW
Hopkins? Really?? Really, the writer is suggesting Hopkins????
WTF is wrong with this guy?Last edited by JJRod; 05-30-2011, 11:44 PM.Comment

Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.
Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.
When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.
But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.Comment
