I have been saying the same exact thing for the last few days, which is there is way too much b1tching and moaning now n days. Like miron said, and which is why I co-signed and quoted is now n days people bash Manny Floyd or any other top fighter for this every other ATG has done. Those guys:

    1. Fought shot/past their prime/old fighters
    2. Fought for money and ducked fighters in more blatant fashion than any fighter today
    3. Took fights that were pointless etc, fought for vacant/no named titles/catchweights

I mean basically nothing that is done today isn't anything new to the sport that hasn't been done by every legendary fighters. The thing is no one cares about what the critics had to say or go out of their way to take away from there legacy. The same will happen with Floyd, Manny Bhop Roy and every other top fighter in the sense that while all these armchair boxing experts think their opinion matters, as time goes no one all give a **** and those fighters will be remembered for their achievements in the sport of boxing.

And yes, Manny will be remember as an 8th divisional titlist and no one will care about how he won it.
    Disagree with the last part.

4 lineals & 7 division belts were good enough for Pac as his ticket to Canastota
Who cares?? Pac still got 7th weight classes to brag about! How many did Floyd has?

The boxing world only has the accolade on this titles to happily anticipate, so I am not surprised that these sport achievements would be questioned and defended as the foundation of fans for having something to be glad about. I'm much more concerned of the inequitable factors in those extremities of weight divisions pacquiao fought.

5...but it's still very impressive and TS didn't mention Floyd? why are you bringing him up?

plus some of the ATGs weren't multi-divisional champions

True, I agree but when it's all said and done, that's what Pac will be labeled as.
On paper he is and that's what casual fans will look at and see.

Although I believe Pac is up there with boxing greats his recent opponents are disappointing choices but you go where the money is at.

I leave Ray's record alone, i leave every fighter who has won a vacant belt alone and recognize it. Its standard for me because its the standard for these organizations whether we like it or not, when its done its done. The 154 Title is aesthetic same with the 175 or Ray. but that doesn't mean it did not happened.
