Pac already had a ticket to canastota when he left 130.

4 lineals, 7 titles puts him in immortal status with all the ATG's.

Yeah and like Barry Bonds, who was already consider a ATG when started using steriods, Pacquiao followed suit.

that's not the point at all. The world remembers/recognizes sugar ray leonard as a 5 weight division champion even though he never fought at/a light heavyweight (and had just as many, yet more egregious, catchweight title fights as pac). After the garcia fight, margarito was ranked the #1 contender at 154 by both the wbc and wba. You may not agree with the ranking but that's the way it was and even with the cw, margarito weighed in at the light middleweight class which is more than you can say for donny lalonde.

So regardless of if you agree or not, Manny Pacquiao IS an eight weight division champion and will forever be remembered/recognized as such.

taking the recognition from Pacquiao automatically takes out Ray's other title at 175!!! which he won at the limit of 168llbs a division below.


Leave those records alone. Ray is a good guy he doesnt deserve this.

When you talk about Ray greatness nobody mentions that 2 titles, 2 divisions, same time crap. That only gets brought up to justify Pac 8th title BS.

But, nobody really give Ray credit for that.

When people talk about Ray greatness they talk about his run at WW, being a top 5 greatest WW of all time, his fights with Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Hagler etc etc. Not no damn Lalonde 2 title crap.

Meh...Most will leave as soon as Pac losses or retires. Some will then really start following the sport and start doing actual research.
