“I can make lightweight if I want to,” said Pacquiao...
TO eveyone using fight night weights to justify jmm-manny

But the TS' point was using fight night weights for justification. So if we don't have Floyd's weight, there is no comparison to be made.I think the issue was more to do with the fact JMM was moving up 2 weight classes as opposed to Floyd not being weighed on fight night. Plenty of fighters don't get weighed on fight night.
The main issue is the fact JMM physically looks terrible above 135 and has admitted that himself.
Which is why both Floyd and Pac can't expect credit for beating him at that weight.Comment

I would say my main concern regarding JMM isn't size, even if I consider Manny bigger it is not by any amount I care about. Performing better at a higher weight doesn't make a guy bigger, match-ups played a role Manny has had some good match-ups that have made him look very good and JMM fought Floyd which was an awful match-up for him.
My main concern for JMM would be is he on the slide and is age really going to catch up with him in this fight. He has been doing very well but all his recent fights have been tough hard fights, he has willed himself to this point to get the fight he desires most but it has to be a concern that his body will give out on him.Comment

How do you feel about him taking the tune up before Manny? It could help him fine tune himself, but god forbid a clash of heads or any crazy thing that can happen in a boxing ring.. And he could lose out on the fight he's been obsessing over for years now..I would say my main concern regarding JMM isn't size, even if I consider Manny bigger it is not by any amount I care about. Hmm... interesting. It's not the weight advantage that made the difference in that fight. It's style difference. JMM doesn't do well with fellow counter punchers in which Floyd is one. He does well when the opponent moves forward and him backing out. JMM was forced to fight offensively in that fight because no one else will. He felt obligated maybe because he felt he was the one that was expected to prove something.
If Pac fights the same style like he did in the first and second fight, I don't expect much difference in this trilogy.Comment

Not to worried about that, I don't think JMM would let anything get in the way of the fight, that may cost him fight night but he still wouldn't let this chance slip away like that unless it was something there was no way he could deal with.
I do predict JMM will look kind of blah in that fight though and people will use it to shit on Manny-JMM even more. I wouldn't put to much stock into that fight though but who knows there could be ominous signs.Comment

In all fairness Floyd size didn't have anything to do with the boxing lesson he gave Marquez it was the matrix movement which did it. Now with the manny fight manny is a pressure fighter so size will matter and we all know Pac can easily make 140 unlike floyd who was off for almost 2 years. When has pac even came in weigh ins at 147?Comment
