Pala looked impressive against Mazykin, even though Mazykin was awful. That was my first look at him. Good prospect.

Ya after Helenius, Glazkov, Pulev i'd put Pala and Abdulsalamov on that second tier of young HW's.

        Round 1

Konecny keeps a high guard and winds his way inside, bobbing and weaving under Bayram's trickle of jabs. HARD left upper-hooks by Konecny. The crowd cheers even though they aren't yet landing too cleanly. Konecny almost pitches himself off balance throwing a left hook around the gloves and then a straight right to the body, scoring a bit with both. Bayram keeps sliding his feet back and letting his jab flow, risking a right hand behind it once and not paying for it. He shies away from any more extended sequences though, as Konecny ramps up his aggression and stays in his chest. Leaping hooks by Konecny out of a crouch, just grazing. That left hook up top & right hand to the body combo is working well for him. Bayram shells up and takes a hard triple hook to the ear as Konecny jumps up in place.

10-9 Konecny, only a couple of good blows but better than Bayram's soft jabs.

Good first round, the contrast of styles will make it a good fight.
Somebody should tell Bayram he can throw more than just a jab.

          10-9 Konecny.

              Round 2

Konecny keeps his gloves pressed tight against his face and sniffs out openings, whipping out a few high hooks. Bayram nervously backs off and flicks his jab, keeping his posture straight upright. There's an uppercut by Bayram before shelling back up and going back into retreat mode. Konecny is throwing hard stuff to the body, hot-dogging it and slugging from the hip with both hands. Bayram isn't looking to counter him, just jab and retreat. Konecny is pinching his gloves together to trap the jab and taking quick double steps inside as Bayram retracts it. Pecking shots to the body by Konecny. Bayram flurries against his gloves, headhunting. Hard body shots by Konecny, grunting with each one landed. Jab up between the gloves and then a hard-slapping right hand across the belt line by Konecny. Flurry towards the end by Bayram, answered by a hard combo from Konecny that pushes him back to the ropes.

              20-18 LK

Bayram letting his hands go now and outworing him but still not landing much and firing powder puffs.
All the hard punching is by Konecny who stole it for me towards the end in a close round.

                20-18 Konecny.

                    Round 3

Bayram jabs and moves uncertainly around the ring, sort of drifting in erratic patterns as Konecny isn't pressuring as hard and dictating his direction. Bayram decides to come forward and unload jabs on Konecny as long as he's not presently in attack mode, but finds the smaller man too well-fortified in that high guard. Konecny finally starts to narrow in and land his hooks to the body. Bayram jabs and shuffles off, nearly trapped on the ropes. Konecny drops a few more depth charges and then gets to blocking as Bayram tries to line him up with a right hand from mid-range. Slapping hooks upstairs by Konecny. He flurries his way in and eats a short uppercut from Bayram, although it doesn't seem to faze him.

                    10-9 Konecny
