Very nice outside boxing by Hammer, eluding Lindberg's diving lurches with quick feet and folding herself in at the middle from body attacks. The 1-2 still landing well. All Lindberg is able to do is hit gloves and drive her way into clinches (where she doesn't have the strength to keep her arms free and overpower Hammer with any inside game). Hammer is whipping with the jab now, and putting some extra oomph on the right cross. More hugging, initiated by the challenger. Three punch combo to the face by Hammer up close. Clinch.

Lindberg jogs in and gets her head wedged under Hammer's arm, repeatedly for the first thirty seconds. Hammer is leaning back and lining up her 1-2 before Lindberg can flop forward into another clinch (with fists sailing in wide from either side on the way in but not connecting cleanly). Lindberg is getting stunned a bit by some of those right hands, taking an especially sharp one right on the nose and jerking her head back a little. Incessant clinching by the Swede, no warning from the ref. Lindberg pumps her fists at Hammer and gets through one nice right hand but eats a few crisp counters in the process.

Hammer is clasping Lindberg tight when she gets close, anticipating the clinches. After the breaks she is whipping hard with the jab and almost hooking a bit with the left. Both look tired. Hammer backs up and pops jabs into Lindberg's face until chased down and grabbed. Lindberg comes in reaching over the top with a telegraphed overhand right, and just catches Hammer on the neck. Hammer is landing double jabs in front of her right crosses to the face now. Lindberg landing almost nothing, except one stray jab of her own. More clinching.
