    LOL thanks.

    Look in your own link:

Money is the only thing making this fight worthwhile for Wright. The matchup with Mayweather is a lose-lose proposition for the 160-pounder, unless the right cash is there.

For the 140-pound champ Mayweather, it's win-win. He'll be a legend if he moves up two weight classes and beats Wright. If he loses, he will be applauded for his guts and courage.

So I was actually wrong, but in a good way. Winky was ALREADY at MW. He was 3 weight classes above Floyd

And wow Winky not only priced himself out of Mayweather fight, but also an Oscar fight. Now that I did not know. I was always believed the Oscar haters saying Oscar ducked Winky.

After years of being low-balled by promoters when he wasn't being avoided by them, Wright's "straight-up money chase" no longer involves being taken advantage of.

In regards to the 50-50 split that Shaw is insisting on, Wright said he wouldn't do the fight for less (especially now, how could he?).

As for Shaw last month turning down $6-million (plus $6 per pay-per-view buy above 600,000 homes) to fight Oscar De La Hoya ?

"He offers everyone else $10, 15-million," Wright said, referring to the $10-million Felix Trinidad got for beating De La Hoya in 1999. "I ain't doing it."

Not only that, but also you have to understand Bob Arum is not the easiest guy to negotiate with, and look who's Mayweather's promoter at that time.

He beat Castillo both times IMO. First fight he wasn't impressive but a wins a win.

Other than that I would say; Hatton, Mosley and probably Gatti (In terms of a great great showing by Floyd)

Decent, not great. Add his resume at 130 to that though it's a very good resume IMO.

The reason Floyd didn't fight Winky Wright was the fault of Winky Wright, not Floyd.

Hard to argue Floyd ducked people at 140 and below, people didn't really want to fight Mayweather. Nothing to gain.

At 147, it's a different story. People had lots to gain from beating Mayweather along with the high risk. Guys were there and let's just say Mayweather didn't partciularly pull his weight to fight them.

Winky is notorious for priceing himself out.

He priced himself out of an Oscar fight..Probably the only person dumb enough in the history of the sport to do that.

Like I said, Winky is to blame for the Mayweather fight not materialising, not Mayweather.

New fans don't know this but people who followed Winky's medicore career understand this.

Lol "He offers $10-15Mill to every one he fights" says Wright. "I ain't doin it".

Wow, he could have had both Mayweather and DLH as possible wins on his resume, and he passed that on. What an idiot. The money would have been good too, for both fights. Because Mayweather just had that PPV with Gatti that sold 400k I believe?[correct me if i'm wrong], and at the time, that made Mayweather at least a a top 5 PPV seller. And having a chunk out of PPV numbers from fighting DLH + a guaranteed $6Mill? How is that being low balled?

                    You should read the article.

OP claims Mayweather could have fought Winky Wright, but then he posts an article about Winky Wright pricing himself out of a Floyd Mayweather and De La Hoya fight.

                    I'd say self owned.

I don't recall the numbers for the Mayweather-Gatti fight to be totally honest but it was his first PPV fight as P4P #1 so I imagine it did OK.

Oscar however, I have no idea why he priced himself out of that one. No idea at all.

Instead he was enjoying racking up his epic trilogy with the Bronco Mckart.
