What are Floyd Mayweather's 5 best wins since leaving superfeatherweight?

I think Floyd Mayweather had a good career at superfeather, but since moving up he has lacked a definining win.

He has lacked the big fights, no Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito, Martinez, Williams, Tyszu and Winky.

Even when he took on Mosley, he was well past his best and had 17 month of ring rust on him.

Oscar was a part time boxer who had not long come out of retirement.

So who was Floyd's best 5 wins since leaving the superfeatherweight division.

And How does these fights ranked as career defining tough fights compare to the greats of yesteryear?

Castillo was a very good win, the second fight anyway. First fight he was injured.

Corley is always a tough fight

Zab may not have been a great win, but it was intriguing and a fun style matchup.

Hatton was a good fight and also very interesting.

Last I will go with Mosley. It was a very good fight on paper and the riskiest fight Floyd had taken in a long time.

I would say his top five were Judah, Hatton, Castillo, Corley and probably Oscar.

To me it does not seem that impressive.

When you think someone like SRL has Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Betinez on there list.

Castillo for me, can see a case for a few of them. If you'd have said after the Corrales fight that 10 years later he still wouldn't have a better win I wouldn't have believed you, he seemed destined to be so so special, such a waste.

              1. How could he have fought Tszu, when he called him out twice, and in 2005 finally when Floyd was gonna fight Gatti, Hatton retired Tszyu. So I don't know how Floyd was supposed to fight Tszyu.

              2. When was Floyd supposed to fight Winky? When Floyd was at 140, Winky was at 154. When Floyd went up to 147, Winky was having his last fights there, he moved up to 160.

As for Mayweather's best 5 wins above 130, i'd say is Castillo, Hatton, DLH, Mosley, and Judah.

So you are trying to compare Floyd's [above 130] resume with a top 10 ATG.

You don't even want to say his 130 resume, yet you compare him with a guy who started at 140, and you mention all his good wins.

The least SRL can do, is have a better WW+ resume than a guy who fought his first 27 fights at 130. I mean that's why he's an ATG right? It would have been embarrassing if a Super Featherweight who is not regarded even a top 50 ATG by many, has a better resume than some one who is regarded as one of boxings top 10 guys of al time.
