  • There are a lot of idiotic things fans engage in in boxing. Fantasy fights, for example, are way too taken seriously. Fans can say the darnedest thing like Floyd would beat the crap out of all these fighters and I won't give a hoot. That's just one example. I'd come up with more when I have the time...

    • Very very good points by scott Levinson, but most ,if not all of the points can be said of Mayweather fans too. In my experience of this forum, Mayweather fans,*****'s, PEDophiles etc. are the more racist and ill educated people here, and without question the most obnoxious and offensive.

The moderators could do a better job of getting shot of the idiots on both sides, but controversy and conflict generate more traffic and more hits I guess.

The article can be said of all rabid fans of any fighter but he focuses on Pacquiao's fans because of his experience with them. He writes in the article about how he wrote how Tommy Hearns would KO Pacquiao if they fought in their primes and all he got was not only insults but it turned very personal because they started attacking his family.

That happens here a lot, its one of the downsides of the internet. The anonymity it provides seems to act like a digital version of dutch courage.

Well now you know why it may have been a good idea to finish HS.

I believe that Manny fans may be justified in feeling frustrated or angry about claims levied by Mayweather but fanaticism and hate are not justified. Even if you don't agree with Floyd's claims it is not science fiction or out the realm of reality to at least think or wonder about them.

automatic response like i said. You will never ever see them debating the criticisms being levied at Pac or themselves without mentioning mayweather or *****s.
