Tua was a punching machine against Ike, he was a shell of himself against Byrd.

Chris Byrd doesnt even close his fists when he hits his opponents, I stroke my ****ing **** harder then he hits guys in the face, that is no ****ing joke.

You cant see how Oquendo beat Byrd, maybe you better talk to Byrd yourself or watch the fight again because there was one person for sure that knew Fast Frez won the fight and that was none other than Chris ***** Byrd.

Tua could still knock out half the guys in the division today. Power is the last thing that leaves you (People like to apply it to Tyson, so I am applying it to Tua)....The fact is Tua was one hell of a puncher and by the time Byrd got to him he still punched harder than most at that time period....

Noone ever watch that Jimmy Thunder fight with Byrd? That was one hell of a fight for Byrd...He wasnt so boring there....I like Byrd, it is a shame he gets no respect Ali fought the same way but he gets praised.....

Tua will be 6 feet under and he still will be a great puncher and have the ability to knock anyone in the HW division out but in order to do so Tua will have to let his hands go and that is something he stopped doing on a consistent basis after his war with IKE.

Tua did things against Ike that he never ever did again, the fight ruined him. You can make a case that it was the best most brutal HW fight since Ali/Frazier 3, this fight is crazy and had Tua or Ike had at all a weakness in their chins (which they didnt) this fight would be more highly regarded, neither guy flinched the entire fight.

I used to HATE Byrd, but I realised what was going on behind the ropes..

        It's all King's fault.

King cant give Byrd his guaranteed 3 million dollar paydays so he rewards him elsewhere...Cant blame the Byrdman...Although the disputed fights I think wasnt robberies and could have went either way although I had Byrd waaaaay ahead of Oquendo.

People, Chris Byrd is the Roy Jones of the heavy weight division he has tons of talent don't hate on the man because of what promoters and judges do.If Byrd had been a middleweight he would have destroyed everyone in his path. You guys act like he's never beat anyone good when in fact he's made some of the top heavyweights look silly in the ring.

Exactly the fighters he had fought with credibility he made them look foolish.

I know Byrd went to heavyweight for the money but I dont understand why he didnt stay at 160-175..Money could have been made.

Exactly, Byrd would be concidered an all time great had he stayed at that weight.

Wow that was mature, you shouldn't critisize, especially like that in the wake of Johnsons death.

I don't like Byrd because he is too inactive and when he does fight like most heavyweigts he doesn't fight anyone good. Plua on top of that he is boring to watch...
