But boxing doesnt have heignt and reach classes. He beat a solid JMW so how can you say he cant fight at JMW effectively. You do know that he fought Vazquez 6-7 years before he fought Borjorquez right? Which was his last fight by the way. Nell was done dude. So I dont get what youre trying to say.

How can you say he cant fight effectively at 154 when he did that already then compare his last fight as a pro which was 6-7 years after the Vazquez fight as evidence?

People who thinks that PW beats Martinez at 154 IMO are wrong. If you check PW's records he won only once at 154 after that win ran back to 147 and stayed there for most of his career and when he step back at 154 he got TKO.

No he broke his clavicle bone, was done, fat, out of shape. Skills were greatly deteriorated. Even a few years before that one could say the same.

If he can effectively fight at 154 then answer me why did he not defend his belt at that division?

Do you know who he beat? And, did you see how Whitaker looked in that fight?

I'd pay to see it. There would lots of showboating and it'd be really entertaining.

I believe Whitaker would pull it off but he'd have to get serious, none of that showboating stuff.

Then answer me why did PW not defend even once this 154lbs belt. Unless he experience that he can't take the punches at that division. He knows that if he slip up even once or thrice that it means its over.
