Hopkins has done an excellent job selecting his opponents. Until now, there was maybe one opponent who was equivalent or bigger to him physically, Tarver. What he's done is amazing for an old man but he isn't as great as what everyone makes him out to be.

yeah I guess glen johnson and roy jones were little turds when hopkins fought then. And all the other MW's he fought like echols, segundo mercado, allen, holmes, joppy, eastman, taylor, jackson, etc. were all tiny men too

But yeah, I guess it's not quite as impressive as say Peter Manfredo jr, Mario Veit, Tocker Pudwill, etc.

Or before pacquiao was a big named star guys like Serikzhan Yeshmagambetov, Fahprakorb Rakkiatgym, etc.

But lets focus on hopkins, he never beat a bigger guy right besides tarver right?

It's funny how you guys are quick to label someone a "hater" cause it's something you don't agree with.

I NEVER EVER said he wasn't great. I gave him props for his AMAZING WIN. I gave him props for beating Pascal who was the #1 guy AND was in the SAME WEIGHT DIVISION as Hopkins.

BUT you guys are the ones taking it to the maximum when it comes to nuthugging. Great win but you guys make it seem like Hopkins can't do NO WRONG.
