Correction: it took 24 rounds to finally get the right decision. The vast majority of people thought hopkins won the first fight, even Pascals hometown newspaper had bhop winning by two rounds.
Apparently you don't know what fact means. P4P is opinion based, not factual. Many people do have Froch on their P4P lists, many don't. If you want him on your top 10, go right ahead you wont hear an argument from me. -
Carl roch gets credit for beating Pascal.
All people are raving about are his "Last 5 opponents" being amazing. Atleast in the UK they are.

At the time Pascal wasn't recognised as a force or big name,siince losing to Froch he achieved recognition and gained a title at a higher weight. Obviously that goes in favour of Bernard's win(2 Wins IMO) over Pascal and the fact that he's 46 years of age,once again a World Champ and looked that good doing it is phenomenal.
I do agree with this and think Froch should get ALOT more credit than he does, I mean I cant understand why Ward is in the top ten P4P when his resume isn't as good as Froch's.Comment

hes maybe top 15, but if he beats Ward then yes, he almost has tobe Top 10.
but hes over-rated IMO.
Taylor was winning till he got caught, if Dirrell had balls he could have easily outboxed him. AA is just too short for the elite at 168. Soo.. you could agrue he's been lucky, but wins are wins so won't knock on him for that. Hes actually one of the first british fighters who actually gets off their asses and comes to USA to prove a point so i respect him for that. but in terms of skill and all that, i think Ward will best him..and againest any elite fighter with actual skill hell fall short to.. just imo..Comment

PascAl was a fairly unknown commodity at the time. He certainly wasn't the recognized legitimate champ at 168. You're a fool if u think pascal's resume wasn't better when bhkp beat him.
On top of that froch has lost to a guy ward handily beat and froch barely beat dirrel.
And, you also must be pretty new to boxing becAuse I remember quite a fuss being made over that fight. It was a contender for foty.Comment

Bernard's age has almost everything to do with it. Beyond that, Froch beat him at smw, where Pascal had a very hard time even making the weight which is why he moved up to lhw.Comment
