Pascal recent hype is due to the fact that he beat Dawson who was I think #4 P4P at the time

^^^This, even though his previous four fights had been against old guys the boxing world was high on Dawson, he looked good against the old guys but it was the Adamek win that was most impressive.

now all of the sudden beating pascal is some sort of amazing victory. More proof the boxing media is extremely racist towards white fighters.

Just keeping **** real, you do kind of have a point. I wouldn't say it's racism, per se, but I'd say about 65-75% of this board hates hard on white fighters. I've also noticed it is more acceptable to make negative racial remarks about white boxers. It's rare to find fans of white fighters on these boards. I can understand that of course you are going to be more inclined to support fighters who you feel like you can "relate" to more on a personal level, that's part of the game, but it's a little extreme in here.

but Hopkins is 46 and Froch is like 33 so Hopkins deserves every bit of respect and credentials. WHen all is said and done, though, Froch will get more love then he has of late.

The same thing happened to Hopkins until just recently. He didn't get the respect he deserved. The path to justice and redemption can be long and blurry, but in the end, justice is served.

When Froch beat him, i was thinking Froch still hasnt been tested and hasnt fought anyone good! Who will expose Froch for what he is. What do you mean "exposed" you gibbering ******? Everyone knows Froch's faults. A blind mongoose could tell what his weaknesses are. Froch is one of the few fighters around whom we should have absolutely no questions about regarding how he got to where he is. He's about as far from being a hype job as you are from winning the Nobel Prize for literature.

He beat Pascal by a wider margin than Hopkins, and Abraham by a wider margin than Ward.

Plus he KOed Jermain Taylor, who beat Hopkins twice.

Oh right, there's a close decision loss to Kessler, while Ward has a win over Kessler. But if Ward had fought fairly without his home referee's assistance, allowing him to repeatedly headbutt Kessler, throwing Mikkel off his game, the result may have been different.

But both Hopkins and Ward are in The Ring top 10 this week, and Froch isn't there.

Anybody who says there is no bias on the part of the American media against non-American boxers is a liar.
