toney and 1-1 against bhop are really his only decent wins. I guess you could wing it and say montell was a good win too but he was C level at best.
See the 2 warriors in my avatar? Roy flat out ducked both of them.

Here's the youtube link to the KO:

Yeah. Great offensive fighter with no defensive skills, but formerly quick reactions. Old age is devastating to a fighter like Roy. He really does need to quit. I feel bad for him now...he was out cold.

Originally posted by iniduoh View PostTo be honest, after the James Toney win, Roy became a ducker. He stated fighting a string of journeymen, old shot fighters and no hopers. Similar to what Pac is now doing. By not challenging themselves, the skills and abilities of gifted fighers like Roy Jones start to deteriorate.

The Racket Squad: The Sinister Minister
For a man of ample faith, Jones must believe that he is destined to die in the ring.
To dare and send this message to fighters and their fans is a blatant example of extreme egotism, not ring smarts nor quality sportsmanship.
Last Saturday, Jones literally played Russian roulette and could have lost his very life.
I wish I had never seen the vicious 10th stanza that instructed the most hideous KO I have witnessed in many years,
It was gruesome.
It looked like the staging of a public execution.
If there is a buck to be soaked out of his sweat, Roy will find another country that appreciates attempted murder.
He will also find plenty of people willing to lead him to the gallows.
When John Duddy retired two months back, he sent a gleaming message of hope to every fighter wise enough to know that there is life after prizefighting.
Does Duddy have more life options then Jones?
If living to see your children grow and enjoying the sweet fruit that life can offer is your cup of tea, then Duddy is a much wealthier and healthier man then Roy Jones will ever, ever be.
Peace is tough to locate. Any known gunfighter whose skills have eroded to the edge of darkness can find a deadly contest.

Roy relied on his natural gifts and when father time came knocking and he lost a couple of steps he had nothing to fall back on. Roy was a great champ and a ****ing beast, im not saying he never ducked anyone, all im saying is that didn't have **** to do wit his skills deteriorating. If roy was a ducker, what the hell would u call floyd?
And I hate hearing people who once crapped on Roy for being a ducker, claim he's no longer a ducker. Why? Cause he's no longer superior to his opposition anymore? Does Lebedev, Danny Green, and Lacy shape ones legacy all of a sudden? He's an all time great who is fighting for reasons neither of us will ever know. I pray he stop because I'm not malicious, but if he wants to go out on his shield, more power to him. I'm forever a fan.
