You cant use BHs age against JC, as you cant only count wins but not take into consideration losses as well, and use age as an excuse.

Its the whole career that counts and of course losses is part of the equation. BH being younger wouldnt have neccesarily helped BH that much, as i think it was just JCs style in general that would cause BH problems. If you trying messing JC about and make it ragged, JC would get into a dog fight if neccesary and make it look horrible like BH does.

JC didnt load up on his punches and threw 1000s of punches, that BH couldnt time.
calzaghe couldn't land them. hopkins just landed 1 clean shot then reset. aka boxing.

Why don't you ask yourself that question. Who the **** did anybody Calzaghe ever beat during his 21 defenses ever beat? LMAO Why the **** did some unranked nobody like Mario Viet fight Calzaghe TWICE during his reign never being ranked either time? LMAO

How come Calzaghe went 5 years out of his prime in those 21 defenses without fighting a ranked opponent? LMAO!

I like Calzaghe and am a fan, while he was active he had the chance to achieve greater things even though he had achieved alot as a fighter before he retired.

          Calzaghe

*21 successfull Super Middleweight title defences, the only two fighters in history that have more than Calzaghe are Dariusz Michalczewski with 23 defenses at Light Heavyweight and all time great Heavyweight Joe Louis with 25 defenses

          *Undisputed Super Middleweight Champ

*Only Ring Magazine/Linear Super-Middleweight Champ since the Division started

*Ring Magazine/Linear Light Heavyweight Champ at the the same time as holding the Super Middleweight Titles

*Retiring undefeated and untied, the first fight to do this since Rocky Marciano

That's where it end's for Calzaghe though and that's my point.

          Bernard Hopkins

*20 Successfull Middleweight Title defences, Tied With Larry Holmes 20 Heavyweight title Defences, the only three fighters in history that have more than Hopkins are Joe Calzaghe with 21 Defences at Super Middleweight,Dariusz Michalczewski with 23 defenses at Light Heavyweight and all time great Heavyweight Joe Louis with 25 defenses

*Fist fighter to retain the Undisputed Title whilst holding all four major belts WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF & Ring Magzaine

          *Oldest Middleweight Champ

          *2 x Ring Magzaine/Linear Light Heavyweight Champ

*Oldest fighter in the sports history to win a major title at the age of 46 winning the WBC Light Heavyweight title surpassing the previous record held by George Foreman winning the WBA & IBF Heavyweight titles at age 45

B-Hop is a phenomenon and his career isn't over yet,he has already achieved alot and still continues to amaze, his resume and achievement's just keep getting better and there could be so much more to come as his career continues, right now it wouldn't surprise me if B-Hop becomes a champion again at 50.

            You didnt answer my question.

Joppy, Eastman and Robert Allen havent beaten one decent fighter between them. THey all got Kod down the road by lesser fighters.

Bhop hid at 160 because he knew Roy, Joe, and TOney would tap that ass. He even admitted on Saturday that he was waiting for everyone else to die out before moving to his natural weight of LHW. He is crafty, Ill give you that, but far from great.

bhop's resume may be better than calzaghe, but head to head i think joe beats him 8 times out of 10.

actually, bhop win last saturday only made joe's resume shine even better. you can't say now bhop was shot to hell when they fought. and jean pascal's resume is nothing to write home about either.

Some of you should watch some old Joe fights where he's cheating his ass off. Rabbit punching fighters to death flurrying like a moron and not getting dq'd. If Eubank didn't credit him as a hard puncher I wouldn't believe the dude brought anything to the table other than his quirky volume throwing.

Fought: Bernard Hopkins(#1), Roy Jones Jr(unranked seriously shot legend)

So were saying somebody who fought 5 top 10 ranked opponents in 21 defenses when he was ranked 1 or 2, and only 2 of them were top 5, is an ATG? 5 years of his prime were against unranked opponents.

Hopkins is his best win who was in his 40's. It's still a great win because of what Hopkins just did but Hopkins didn't have the speed he once had. Obviously lost a step, gave Joe the fight of his life and arguably beat him on technique alone. Then Joe never rematched to settle the score once and for all.

Instead he fought Roy Jones who was out of his prime after he got KO'd by Johnson. He was seriously shot, no speed or reflexes anymore, came off a win against shot blown up Trinidad.

So LMAO, is this really what you want to call ATG?
