Naah not really. I feel at worse he he inside the top 40. I doubt anyone could name 40 fighters with better resumes than him unless your one of those posters who holds older fighters in higher regards than they should be.Comment

But for me, Top 50 is a more realistic range.
JMO.
Top 20? No way.Comment

BTW have you ever put together a top 50 list? I've got as far as a top 35 but even then I'm constantly swapping guys around.
My top 5 is pretty much set with
1. Ray Robinson
2. Henry Armstrong
3. Harry Greb
4. Willie Pep
5. Benny Leonard
However I'm really tempted to put Sam Langford at #5.Comment

Based on 3 things
Skills(actually how good you are)
Consistancy(in a fighters prime)
Resume
B-hop is no worse then top 15
he has
A level skills
A+++++++ consistancy
B+ resume with A level wins over Winky Tito Tarver and Pavlik and B+ level wins over Glen Johnson and Jean PascalComment

i think its hilarious that you have probable seen less then 20 fights total of your top 5 unless you are like 80 years oldComment

Jones was on another level in his day tho, he beat a young fit (and not green like some say) Nard without hitting 3rd gear
And Floyd has a good record of his own that is a match for Hopkins imo, these recent guys Pascal, Pavlik ect are nothing special imo and some of his best wins are against WW's. Floyd has better skills, he's a better fighter on the whole imho. Not *****ing on B Hop the dude is a G and an all timerComment

I go more with ranges. Even though I don't currently have a list, I pretty much know what range I would place a fighter in. However, of course I am in two minds alot of the time even then. The history of the sport is incredibely vast.
I would personally argue that Sam Langford is no lower than #5, absolutely no lower. I would have him in the Top 3, personally.
But you're Top 5 you have there on display is excellent IMO.Comment
