Is this proof that Calzaghe didn't beat an over the hill Hopkins?

The Hopkins Calzaghe fight was close, neither of them looked good. The cold fact is regardless who won that fight Hopkins has a better legacy and when all is said and done will be ranked leagues ahead of calzaghe in an ATG list.

There is a reason why Calzaghe retired after beating up Roy Jones Jr.
He didn't want to give a rematch to B-Hop or Mikkel Kessler.
His time was coming but again he knew when to retire.

Calzaghe beat a good B Hop for sure.

But, he didn't beat anybody else. If you say Calzaghe > BHOP you have to admit that Jermain Taylor > BHOP as well. lulz

Remember, styles make fights. BHOP has problems with slick fighters but has the better resume.

            BHOP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Calzaghe.

            Show a little respect.

He is still a fantastic fighter, yes, but Hopkins never got hit in his prime, he did not get hurt, he did not get gassed and sure as hell didn't get knocked down. All of this has been happening to him since he hit his 40s.

So yes, the ones saying "prime Hopkins makes a fool of Calz" are on to something. To be fair to Calzaghe, he wasn't exactly spring chicken either and when he was young he didn't have to 'slap'. But when he was young he did not have the skills and experience of the Calzaghe that we saw in his last couple of fights. So when he fought Hopkins he was at his best.
You are a thick piece of shit

You know nothing about boxing, get the hell out of her and take these ******ed so called fans with you

Calzaghe outboxed hopkins, he was landing more, controlled the fight and was the aggressor, the fact even leading journos and pundits had calzaghe winning shows how thick you really are

Calzaghe landed 232 punches in that fight, hopkins landed 127, use you head for christ sake

I've said it many times. Bhop lost the fight over his 'White boy" comment. Please don't be naive and kid yourself.

IMO Calzaghe did the best against the best version of Hopkins. Better than Taylor, Pascal and Winky.

Calzaghe dealt with Hops cheating style better than anyone!

Bhop is over the hill, its just that these young fighters arent that good.....

I think cokezaghe would beat pascal too, except just like hopkins, he'd be getting hit more often
