Dawson impressed me very well, he looked very offensive.
If Dawson was white or hispanic, he would have been crowned top 10 P4P easily with that win. African American fighters are put on a pedestal and are expected to way better than any one else. You literally have win every round by trading, and in between rounds you have to do push ups, just to get people excited, when you are an African American fighter.
"Fails to impress" he nearly shut out your Romanian brother, if any one failed in this fight, it was Diaconu. The winner always gets bashed, that's how it in boxing. Nevermind the 500 missed hayemakers by The Shark, even though Dawson was the one pressing the fight and coming forward.
It's sad to see a fighter like Dawson fight the way he does. He has amazing physical qualities, good boxing skills, but he's really afraid to engage and has no ambition, no heart.
With his height and power he should be able to be among the top fighters of the division, but without the desire to be the best, I don't think he'll ever be a top fighter. If he fights the way he did today against Bhop, I don't give him any chance of winning.
He was sitting down on his punches more which was leaving openings for his opponent

he seemed to drift in the middle rounds reverting to his defensive style he's just not a big hitter and to think he's going to KO guys isn't the right strategy.
Given new trainer learning new style i thought he performed well
He's laid back @relaxed in the ring not always the worst thing better than herky jerky tense tire in the late rounds way
I arrreciate good boxing and responsible fighting he could of thrown more punches but he still won easily.
But he'll need to step it up next time out given the right opponent who'll push him and make him have to bear down you won't know if he's got it or not
