Tyson was declining and Douglas was actually a great fighter when he was in shape and came to fight.

Floyd is a gym rat and is well known for his hard work ethic. While it is possible for an upset to occur, assuming Floyd showed up in top shape as he ALWAYS HAS it's safe to say that Cotto wasn't going to win anyway. Floyd may have fought different fighters from the guys you mention, but that doesn't mean he ducked them, he just pursued other opportunities. If he had fought Cotto instead of the other guy, they'd say he ducked the other guy. Don't you get that?

Floyd is never going to get the respect that he deserves as the greatest fighter of this era because of propaganda. The media has done a fantastic job at painting Floyd to be a coward.

You are not a real boxing fan and you don't know the sport. If you did, you would not see things the way that you do because you wouldn't allow the media to form an opinion for you, which is without question what you have done; the media has influenced your perspective on anything pertaining to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Hatton had entered the ring over 140 for most of his fight. I'm not gonna split hairs when it comes to Jr welters fighting Welters - it's ****** unless one guy is cutting to the point where it greatly impacts the fight, as was not the case with Ricky Hatton.

Nothing you are saying makes any sense. Be logical in what you're saying, man. You are not standing on solid ground in your arguments. You can love Pacquiao and hate Floyd but you still need to have a logical argument and you do not.

And I'm not hating on Manny Pacquiao. I enjoy his style because he throws a lot of punches and never quits. His fights with Morales and Barrera and Marquez are classics and some of the greatest fights in boxing history.

I am only pointing out facts. I would be happy if they fought and either guy won, but being a boxing fan and knowing this sport so well having followed it my entire life and having watched all the greats of the past, I take an honest look at both fighters and I just see no way that Pacquiao can do the job against Floyd. He's a great fighter, but Floyd is a once in a lifetime fighter. He is the best that I have ever seen and Pacquiao makes a lot of mistakes. It doesn't make him a bad fighter, but I don't see any way that he beats Floyd Mayweather Jr. I just don't and that is said with no bias.

Floyd was throwing to the wolfs right out of the gate and was P4P 2 years in Manny didn't make any impact or had any big fights early in his career .

I guess I dont understand this post? I dont discredit FMJ good wins and he had plenty of them and when I rewatched 2 of his fights yesterday I was reminded of his greatness. But when you go back and look at his resume in what was supposed to be his best years, it was pretty underwhelming.

Check my facts? Can you please tell me where it says that Corrales had just gotten out of prison when he fought Floyd, because I have not seen that.

People said he was ducking Oscar, he beat Oscar at Oscars weight with no catch weight. People said he was ducking Hatton, he owned Ricky Hatton. People said he was ducking Shane Mosley, and he destroyed him.

What can Floyd do that you will respect outside of fighting Pacquiao? If that is the only way that he can earn your respect, then you're not relevant in any topic pertaining to anybody aside from Pacquiao because you're not a fan of the sport but just a Pacquiao fan (*******).

The only differences i see is that, Pac fought boxers that are way bigger than him, you would never see Mayweather fight anyone who is 10lbs bigger than him, no way in hell he would do that.. Thats what separates Pac from Mayweather... End of discussion, next....

So 3 or so inches in height and some extra weight is what wins fights? Speed kills, man, and Pacquiao has way more speed than anybody he's fought, not to mention the guys with the height advantage were already on the decline when they fought Pac. They were so far removed from their prime that they're not even relevant to the sport anymore.
