when was the last time manny beat a undefeated champ????
Good question. I'm curious to read some answers to this myself.

People want to downplay Floyd because of all the propaganda but Hatton was a beast and king at 140 and everybody said Floyd was ducking him.

He fought him and it looked like Hatton had no business in the ring with Floyd, as the gap in skillset was just astronomical.

Why is it well if Floyd did this, what about Manny? And vice verca?

They both did some shrewd match making. But Manny was fearless when he was younger, not so anymore. While Floyd wasn't quite as fearless even when younger.

They both cherry pick, let's just leave it at that.

Like I said, he just wants to beat him better than Floyd did, and close the trilogy with a huge knockout so that they can sell to the fans that "Pacquiao has made vast improvements and finally conquered the kryptonite that is Marquez."

        It's a sham and a fraud.

Look, JMM is old. He's going on 38 years old. He is still a good fighter because he is technically sound but he's not what he used to be and that's the reason Manny is taking this fight.

Floyd beat Marquez a few years ago, and now that he's showing signs of an aging fighter Pacquiao is sticking with the trend of fighting Floyd's leftovers so that he can beat them more convincingly.

Marquez is going to get knocked out by 10 count, or a forced stoppage, then they can point at Floyd and say "We beat the same guy more convincingly." That is exactly why it is meaningless - as meaningless as his last few fights, because Manny only has to show up and do what he is expected to do. It will not be competitive because Marquez is not the fighter he used to be.

He is still technically better than Manny is, but he's just getting old.

you do know they had 2 close fights.........even before...........so your floyd leftover is quite laughable......................

like i said they were both close fight..........its a trilogy thing.........

floyds win against JMM doesnt really count as a matter of fact.......

Chop Chop Corley- who was coming off a loss to Zab
Henry Bruseles- who was coming off a draw to Ener Julio
Gatti- which I didnt have a problem with. Good payday for FMJ
Sharmba Mitchell- who was just 1 fight removed from getting torched by Kosta Tszyu
Zab Judah- who was coming off a loss to Baldomir
Baldomir- who I didnt have a problem with but he still had 9 losses
ODLH- Once again, i dont have a problem with this fight at all but ODLH was 34 and 2-2 in his last 4 fights and those wins were Mayorga and Felix Sturm, if you want to call the fight against Sturm a win.

Then we got Hatton, JMM, and Sugar Shane.

All I did was spit out facts here. A lot of people want to say that Pacquiao is fighting washed up has beens and he has with Margarito and Mosley and only fights Floyd's leftovers. Well look at the facts, was Floyd basically not doing the same thing?
The problem is not that Floyd and Manny are basically doing the same things, it's the fact that *******s deny that they are doing the same things.

More money for a belt against the lineal champion?

              or.

Fight Antonio Margarito for less money and no title?

Come on, man, get your facts straight.

And Cotto wasn't going to beat Floyd anyway, and those negotiations never even took place. Why would Arum have put his top prospect at the time in Miguel Cotto with Floyd Mayweather? That's a risky fight, no chance that Arum does that because it would have most certainly have meant an L for Cotto, and that cuts your stock in half.

Say what you want about Floyd, buy the propaganda if you want, but the dude is great - one of the greatest ever and easily the greatest boxer today.

I agree he is great and makes guys look average or worse but lets call a spade a spade and his resume isnt that great either. From age 25-29 where is that top fighter? And please dont say Baldomir just b/c he was the lineal champ. And you cant say Judah either b/c he just lost to Baldy and had lost to SPinks and Tszyu too.

Some were ranked pretty good, just like Pac's opponents. Can't have double standards man. You know I'm not big on Pac nor Floyd. Just being neutral.

by Strugg's logic Manny's last legit win was against MAB I.

and spin it however you want that fact remains Floyd's last 4 opponents are way better then Manny's last 4.
