i agree with torino on this subject. don't really believe too much in the concept of having a strong "chin" as boxers say.
too many variables contribute to knockdowns and knockouts to be purely calculatable. these include, at the time of a ko or kd, the fighters stamina, balance or position, punishment endured up to that point, seeing the punch coming, etc.
one thing you can't question about wladimir, however, is his heart and desire to box. how many other fighters would've endured as much **** as he took, and not be bitter about it?
