I think calling this a mismatch is the understatement of the year. This is going to be a quick, and painful night for Juan and all of his fans (myself included.) He will stand and counter, but he wont have the speed or reflexes, or even the power he had when they fought before. He is going to be a hair too slow to be able to get away with what he could before and is going to look like he is fighting under water like when he fought Floyd. If Kat and Diaz had no trouble finding Juan, Pac will steamroll him FAST.

i disagree with that...what floyd did that rendered jmm ineffective was he took out jmm's bread and butter...counterpunching. floyd fought jmm from the outside using his jab and he always beat jmm to the punch because of his superior speed and longer reach. jmm was so desperate that he was the aggressor which is unusual for a smaller guy. he attacked floyd only to fall for floyd's traps and defensive skills.
with pac, he doesn't have to worry for all of that...he will surely find himself counterpunching again. but still, i don't think he will have the same success he had in their previous 2 encounters. jmm has lost a step or two and moving up will just make it worse it for him.

I see weight is a better indicator of how a fighter will perform instead of what happened in two previous fights where it was obvious JMM fought him on even terms. Yup you are a Rican all right!

I don't really agree with this fight. Its come a little too late for my liking. Would have been good at 135 say two years ago. Anyway, apart from that Marquez deserves a good pay day and he has got that at least. I will still watch it because Marquez is one of my favorite fighters and if anyone can make life difficult for pac its him.

Take him to that dark place where he is scared to go. You took him there twice before, go all out for one last hurrah. WAR MARQUEZ!!!!!!!

Instead of making it a fair fight, Pac will have all the advantages in the world. When its not draining a fighter, its making a fighter carry more weight than they naturally can. You see what Marquez is doing; that's all Manny had to do to fight Martinez.
