NFL player Ray Edwards has taken up boxing and will make his pro debut this Friday. His trainer says he is faster than muhammed ali and punches harder than tyson. He is 6 foot 5 and 270 pounds but he moves like a balerina . What does anyone know about this guy?.

theres only one way to find out. exhibition against Wladimir!
I dont mind him saying stuff like this since it brings some press to boxing, but he better be willing to at least try to step it up when the time comes and not just feast on bums. -
Well emanuel steward says he has exceptional speed for his size. Steward says he can get to the top really quick because the heavyweight division is so devoid of talent now. Edwards also says he has been beating up all his sparring partners. Edwards seems too ****y too mean he says he is going to be the greatest heavyweight of all time. I mean that is such a ridiclous thing for someone to say who has no amateur or pro experience in boxing. I mean there is no way he can actually believe that he can be greater than ali. The guy is a late starter. I mean he has only being boxing for 4 years and he is 26 years old.Comment

270lbs? He has way too much muscle mass he'll gas by the 3rd round of any fight then will be easy pickings for any club fighter. He might be faster than Muhammad Ali and stronger than Tyson (I would hope so, he weighs 60lbs more than prime Tyson) but after the 2nd or 3rd round all that strength/speed will be reduced to 0 as he gasses from his overly large muscle mass and will be brutally KTFO (I'm sure he has no chin)Comment

Good.
Once he gets worked by a journey man,
we can put to rest all of the "best HW is in the NFL" talk.Comment
