If we're taking about his chin, I haven't seen anything. He's taken some decent shots without blinking and all of the talk coming out of the gym and from his peers is that he's got a good beard. I don't think he's going to flop or lose heart the first time he's hit hard with a really good punch.
What I'd say about DeGale is I don't like the way he'll sometimes consciously use a shoulder roll defence against orthodox fighters when he's in the southpaw stance, e.g. I saw Smith sell him on a jab feint in their fight then come with a right hand which DeGale rolled into. He should lowe that, because it could create problems for him against better guys...he's better off just using his reflexes and forgetting that technique when he's using the southpaw stance vs. an orthodox guy.
Groves needs to be moving clockwise, look for left-hook counters to DeGale's jab (slip it to the left and hook to the body), use the right hand often, feint his own jab and shoot the right hand through etc. The thing is that DeGale can switch quite smoothly and change rhythms, which is another issue that could cause confusion for Groves.
