come on people don't tell me this fight will get its conclusion from public opinion. if somebody's ass gets beat it should be in the ring. if we get contented with opinions, then the more this fight will not happen. if you're a boxing fan you should push for both fightes to fight in the ring and not ****ride somebody's opinion just because he favors your favorite fighter.

That's odd cause I remember Naz telling Shane in the Floyd fight he wasn't gonna sit back and watch him take too much more punishment and Shane was gonna force him to do something he didn't wanna do. Nothing of the like was said last Saturday. Just sayin'...

when ****m speaks, i listen; however, i think he is a little off on his interpretation of what went down in the ring, and how he is trying to construe that as a predictor for the fight between pac and mayweather.

ive probably spent days of my life (cumulative over the past 3 years) discussing why i think floyd would have won, and why i now think pacquiao will win. i take everyone's opinion into consideration, but im not swayed really by this.

I don't see how head butts, low blows, and a push called a knockdown can take place when a fighter is running. Simply put, Shane didn't stand in front of Manny and slug. He spent most of the fight simply circling to his left. So stop misinterpretting movement with running. It's getting played out.

umm shane is an Aggressive fighter whom attacks and goes after his opponents.. cept against Pacq.. He was in survival mode not trying to use his Power or hand speed. tying Pacq up when close, so not to be overwhelmed and hit.... = He ran... did he do this against Mayw tho he was being beaten and battered by lil Floyds bombs?? nope he didnt..... The ole fool Ran plain and simple kid..

His 39 year old legs and a little movement more or less shut down the attack of Manny and made him look confused. He swang and missed wild against a guy with no defense at all. Shane was just too old to do anything about it. Like I said before the fight, take Manny and Shane and have them fight at the same age and Pac gets ****d.

I would like to know what over the last 3 years had led u to discount a boxing lifer like Naz's opinion on the outcome of the possible matchup with May and Pac? He's had the liberty of conducting 2 camps breaking down film, installing gameplans, and watching the match play out against both fighters. If what he gathered sitting in the opposite corner against both men, is that May schooling Pac isn't debatable, then I tend to listen to his opinion. Ur "fandom" may jade ur opinion, but Naz doesn't have a horse in the race. This is a man who learned under Bouie Fisher and got his sea legs cornering for Hopkins. He knows boxing. And he unequivicolly said the fight outcome isn't debatable anymore. This same man had the wherewithal to say Shane should hang 'em up. Doesn't sound like a biased guy to me.

So let me get this straight....boxing from the outside and trying to use distance against the shorter armed guy equals running? Gotcha'. We can pretend that there weren't 2 rounds already fought before Shane "tasted" Manny's power....and guess what?? He was still fighting from the outside and not being aggressive. Stop acting like he tasted Manny's power and switched plans in mid stream and started running. It looked like Shane was fighting the earlier rounds to conserve energy so Pac couldn't swarm him and "drown" him in the later rounds. After about the 10th round, Shane saw the finish line and began to backpedal more than usual, but don't act like from round 4 until 10 that Shane simply ran from him. What Khan did, literally sprinted from ring post to ring post against Madaina, is running. What Shane did what not engage Manny. Sorry u couldn't witness a tomato can sitting there playing to Manny's strength like his most recent opponents and be a punching bag for him. Have u guys been stuck in this malaise over Manny that u forgot boxing is more than a bar room slug fest?

a prime shane could get dropped by pac and go into survival mode.
