Shame on TS posting this again as I have several times put up the Poll showing most people here know Dirrell won. I like Froch now. But those stats came from boxrec, not Compubox, and boxrec has lost all crdibility because of that.

Above is the poll from NSB here on Froch-Dirrell. Started the next day or so, when the facts were fresh.

It has 220 to 73 or 69% to 23% in favor of Dirrell over Froch. Your colleagues here at NSB have spoken clearly.

This is the backlash against Dirrell because he left the tournament of an injury that people think is fake. Why did most people think Dirrell won right after the fight?

Dirrell won the last 2 rounds quite clearly but other then that i might have given him a round or 2. He spent the whole fight refusing to engage, running, holding and throwing himself to the floor. It was a terrible fight but remember thinking at the end that Froch just about did enough.

I even remember a couple of the other guys in the tournament (think it was Kessler and Abraham) saying that they thought Froch just about did enough. It seems only the Americans think Dirrell won.

In summary, Dirrell might have won if he showed a bit more heart.

But he didn't. So he lost.

Dirrell could have performed a lot better, regardless...he clearly beat Froch. I think both have improved since then, I'd like a rematch.
