"Arum said he thinks boxing could return to prime-time network television on CBS this year".
If that's true then that's the HUGE news, don't really give a **** about the buys since the fight was a dud. But if we're watching Boxing on CBS by the end of the year, don't know how anyone can dare say Bob Arum, Top Rank, or Manny Pacquiao have hurt boxing in any way.

Pacquiao put on a bad show.

      [QUOTE=Republica;10544110]Official results out this week...

It was a big waste of money. Slowest most depressing fight that Pac-Man or Mosley put on.

Pacquiao left Margirito with a puffy eye like this
Pacquiao left hatton puffing for air on the ground in round 2
Pacquiao Bet legandaery Erik "el terrible" Morales in 2 out of 3 fights
Pacquiao Bet Oscar De La Hoya into retirement to protect his pretty face LOL
Pacquiao Bet David Diaz by TKO forcing him to retire
Pacquiao bet Mexican Legend Marco Antonio Barrera twice!
Pacquiao only had a real challage with Marquez but he still won twice.
Pacquiao bet Miguel Cotto current Jr. Middleweight champ. taking his welterweight belt.
Pacquiao bet Cottos 2nd worst enemy Josh Clotty in a welterweight bout.
Pacquiao also TKO Jorge Solis a while ago.

Think real hard about all these fights. And compare them to the junky dance he put on then he should have Mosley! He played it just a little too safe.

Excellent point, now HOPEFULLY, and we pray to every God there is this happens, the fights that get put on CBS are fights that are entertaining! First one that pops into my head is if the Rios-Antillon fight got put on CBS, that'd be so much fun and a great intro for people to see the sport

I'm not gonna buy the second half of your post, but the first half I agree entirely. If CBS adds boxing that would be excellent.

What a shame the casuals tuned in for this one and Mosley refused to fight. They will be a little more hesitant to lay down there money for the next so called super fight.

Seriously, Arum talks about grand ideas all the time and they never happen. I fail to see why anyone would believe what he has to say here.

"Lets do a fight on CBS, oh wait there is less money in it quick call HBO" Is about how far that would go~
