Arum says all kind of grand things, and they almost never come off and if somehow they do they are not as grand as people envision them.

That is Arum's history, no amount of recent articles changes that history.

            Between 1.3 and 1.4

I had my fingers crossed for 1.41.

Except it was the head of CBS saying it, not Arum. Read the damn article.

You would think that Boxing 'fans' would be ecstatic about the news, but for some reason...

let me try to explain it to you

Arum Toprank and Manny Pacquiao hurt boxing by exposing that turd of a fight to lots of new fans who most likely would not watch boxing ever again if that was the best boxer in the world and the "Superbowl" of boxing
1.3-1.4 million PAID to see the fight, that wouldn't be the case with the possible 115 million with FREE CBS. It's just one fight, and Pacquiao won't even be on the network beyond Fight Camp and some Nike/HP commercials. If it's marketed right and Boxing is reintroduced to Americans properly, it could be a renaissance for Boxing.

But keep digging for reasons to be mad, it's a good look.

Thats because they conned a lot of people that did not no any better, so I do have to give a lot of credit to bob snake arum for being very good at selling **** fights.

I didn't see any quotes from CBS saying it, only Arum.
