The past training and nutrition were primitive compared to how advanced we are now in those regards. Old school fighters may have great fundamentals and all of that but the athleticism and physical ability just doesnt compare.

why dont you watch pac's early fights , like barotillo and makellin, etc.. ...he's always been pretty good at at ...the reason why he avoids doin that now is because he'a been fighting way bigger guys and him moving in and out is his most effective...

Thats why in fantasy fights you got envision the old time fighter being prepared by modern training ,,, its all relative .

That is absurd. How are we supposed to know how an old fighter would turn if they were to completely redo there whole boxing career training differently.

When comparing old to new fighters you compare they how they fought in the prime of their respective generations.

This is also why fantasy fights are completely useless to debate. All of our opinions (including mine) are biased or completely baseless.

Well he messed the same shot, old, legless, Mosley up a heck of a lot better than Mayweather did and he apparently looked "half-azzed" while doing it too so what does that say about Floyd?

like what? What do fighters do nowadays? hit the heavybag, spar, double end bag, speed bag, shadow box...yup, fighters of the past couldnt do that. very advanced.

and what does Pacquiao eat? rice, chicken, watermelon. Oh yea, those werent invented in the past. super advanced nutrition.

If the nutrtional was so much different, athletes from 3rd world countries that grew up eating anything they could get their hands on(ie Pacquiao) wouldnt exist, it would be the ones that grew up with amazing nutrition.

so he did it against bums? impressive.

never, against any of his top competition, has he won a fight using infighting. he literally doesnt do anything at close range, he wants nothing to do with it...
